Request books that you are looking for

Hello everyone

those who are in this group I think all of them are book-lovers. Who else would even bother to join?!
Now every bookworm has a weak spot. There are books that we are looking for and don’t seem to find it anyhow. So this thread can help us out to find that special book we are looking for or at least can suggest where it may be found. And only a true book-lover can feel that inexplicable feeling of finding it finally. I looked for a book for 20 years and you can imagine the ecstatic feeling when I found it.

So here are 3 books I am looking for (hardcopy/soft copy) for reading/collection/sell/exchange.

Please see if you can help me to find these books.
1. Captain Blood Returns by Rafael Sabatini
2. The Last Cavalier by Alexander Dumas
3. How steel is tempered by Nikolai Ostrovsky

@Nasif thank you so much for the offer..thats very generous for you...but there is a copyright issue with amazon.....they detect the network and if I am trying to download it from outside USA they block.....I tried with other books but did not work well I ended up reading the books on pc instead of kindle and I dont like it......do you have any solution for it?? I am trying to figure out a way to bypass it.......if you can suggest anything I would love to try.....

That's weird. Haven't faced such issue!

I had created an Amazon account with Canada's address and can buy Kindle books with Master Card with no issue so far.

I don't have a kindle tablet. I read it on my android tablet with kindle android apps (https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...).

See if you can buy books from Amazon account created with CA/US address. Use real address BTW. If you have any relatives in US/CA; then you can use their address.

Oops sorry I had that one and thought they were the same without checking, silly me :P I'll keep an eye anyways and if I come across any link I'll let u know here :)

btw, about the Amazon account, Nasif is right in a sense that u can open an account if somebody from US/UK or Amazon supported countries do it for u using their mailing and billing card address. However, you can NOT buy anything using ur account urself while u r in BD. If u reeeeeally need to buy anything, u have to ask the same person to buy it using ur account. Then u can go to ur account and to ur Kindle library section to see the book sitting there :D It's actually quite a roundabout way and I don't do it unless I'm desperate for a book ;)

@Nasif she explained it pretty well. Anyone can open an account but buying a book and downloading it is a big problem. You need to show them that you are logging in from USA or Canada. There are tons of free books but if you login from BD they wont show a thing!!! Very discriminatory. Address is not a problem I opened one account with google's HQ address ;) the issue is when they check they check your IP address. If I log in from PC I can hide my IP address and fool them. But if I try to login using my kindle I am stuck then I would be needing to hide the IP at the server level :( no internet service provider will do that.

which is a 2 part doc file. u can than convert it into epub or mobi.

and btw u can dl books from amazon into ur pc using fake us address and fake ip and remove drm and then send it to ur kindle or whatever.

I have been looking for this book for a long long time.... although I have ordered it from amazon.in already but their's is an imported edition so will take atleast 2months before I get the book.
