Chapter 3: (view spoiler)[Hmm, I know they'd break up eventually because of 'Wes' but I didn't know it was this early. I'd say Jason's an ass but you could sense that he's going to feel this way sometime soon. His academics are too important and Macy just seemed like a bonus, like an add-on. Yeah he was a bit sweet on the airport, but breaking up because of I LOVE YOU? Hell though... He's already driving me nuts, and this early in the book! I'd rather not hear from him anymore.

I'm so happy Macy got out with the crew. Kristy sounds like the perfect best friend, though. Even though Monica's not saying much I still hope she grows on me and have fantastic development towards the end. Can't wait to know all of them more. And when will Macy leave that library anyway?! -_-

Chapter 9: (view spoiler)[I find that hard to believe that Wes hasn't played Truth!!! That's like since grade school and now I'm finished with college we still play it and I think when I become an adult with kids I still think there's a strong likelihood I'll still play it.

So far the friendship between Wes and Macy are fine, it's just that it's not that subtle because they 'get to know each other' through a game the guy claims he has never played. Macy's attraction is obviously spot-on, and she hasn't thought much about Jason and I'm not sure I feel good about that, even though they're 'on a break'. I just hope she leaves that freaking library already! I don't know what's the deal with Amanda and Bethany, they just seemed like flat characters to me, stereotypes of perfect, smart but mean girls.

Chapters 6-9: (view spoiler)[ Macy is falling for Wes. The catering crew is awesome. However, they always forget something each time they go to cater. I feel so bad for Kristy. I love how Macy and Kristy talked about Jason and how Macy deserves better. I like the fact that Caroline is rebuilding the beach house, even though her mother wasn't sure about it. I think it gives Macy and Caroline some time to bond. Oh no....Wes has a girlfriend in rehab. I was rooting for Wes and Macy! (hide spoiler)]

I would stick with Wes and forget about Jason altogether. I really like Caroline. I wish to see more of the sisterly bond now. (hide spoiler)]

Ending Thoughts (Chapters 19-22): (view spoiler)[ I think that the fight between Caroline and their mother was the breaking point for their pent-up emotions of their father's death. Finally, her mother shows how she truly feels and loses it. It was actually nice to see that her mother has not lost herself completely over her husband's death. Okay I adore Kristy. She made Macy realize that she was in love with Wes and not Jason. I love the truth game part. I am happy that she was the one to kiss him. Yay!! Happy ending for everybody. I am glad that her relationship with her mother is better than what it was. (hide spoiler)]

I really never understood why Macy even glanced in Jason's way but whatever - I'm glad she picked Wes in the end. I always end up wanting a little more out of Dessen endings.

I'm glad that she finally accepted Macy and Wes, and most probably the rest of the Wish gang as well. I think Caroline is really one of the most amazing characters in the novel. Despite not being the main character, she really was the one who started and brought about the change in their family, and how Macy and her mom handle things and emotions. Makes me so sad to grow out of favorites. I remember thinking that the catering job in this was so NICE, and it was part of what made me so excited to read the Kasie West from last year.
