Kami slowly walks around the streets with his hands inside his pockets. he was usually always quiet, mainly when alone, his mind seemed to wonder.

Kurai was in the shadows as usual. He hadn't visited his clan members in like... What, three months? Around that time. It had begun to drizzle slightly and the sky was cloudy. A gloomy day.. And a gloomy King.

Kami stops in his tracks as he stares up at the sky, whispering,"my king.. where have you gone..? its been three months already.."

His member's thoughts could be heard in his mind but he ignored them. After what he had gone through his past had been difficult... When anyone saw him he acted pretty cheerful, hiding his pain. This was the nature of the Black King.

Kami quietly sighs, sitting on a bench. The king had always been cheerful, but he knew that he always saw the king depressed when alone, and he'd always wanted to change that, but was always too shy to.

Kurai was certain none of his members would be out at this time and weather and stepped out from where he had been sitting, almost instantly getting drenched. However his black aura deflected the rain and he stayed dry afterwards. He was across the street from Kami but didn't notice him at all and started walking the opposite direction.

Kami blinks, quickly standing up as he asks,"K-King Kurai?!" he rushes up to him.

Oh great. Kurai cast Kami a side glance, then said, "Yeah?" In a deep voice that held no sense of depression or sadness.

He frowns,"where have you been?!"

"Out." Was the short reply.

He flinches, looking down,"im sorry.. its just.. you've been gone.. i was worried.."

"Did you people think I died?" Kurai asked quietly.

He whispers,"everyone else did.. but i didnt.. i know you are too strong to die.."

"So, if a King disappears for over three months the clansmen thinks their leader has died?" He muttered sounding decidedly unpleased.

he slowly nods, frowning,"i tried telling them that you didnt.."

"I've been inactive, I apologise." Kurai murmured, looking at the sky as rain hit his face.

He slowly looks up,"y-you dont need to apologize my king, you did nothing wrong.."

"I did what no King should have done. I abandoned my clan." Kurai whispered, starting to walk away.

Kami flinches, quickly grabbing Kurai's hand to stop him, questioning,"why..?"

"It's better for me not to drag anyone else into my problems." He said quietly, staying where he was.

He frowns,"Kurai.. i want to be the one you tell your problems to, the one you can be yourself around.."

"That's the problem, Kami. I don't know how I used to be." He murmured, removing Kami's hand from his own.

Kami frowns, letting his hand drop,"please my lord, at least let me try to help.."

"I'm sorry, but introducing you to my life would be a mistake to myself and to the clan." Kurai said.

Kami stares down, falling silent.

"I apologise." Kurai said stiffly before he turned and began to walk away again.

Kami knew he could not help him, no matter how bad he wanted and remained where he was, continuing to stare down.

What's the use of being a King, when I won't even confide in my own members? Kurai thought.

Kami sighs, looking away, letting his black hair fall in front of his dark red eyes as he stares off at nothing of importance.

Kurai did a U Turn and backtracked, walking past Kami again but this time he seemed in a hurry. He needed to express himself.. Draw..

Kami blinks, watching him, going to follow but he stops himself, looking down as he thinks if i keep bothering him.. he will hate me more..

He shakes his head before quickly grabbing Kurai's wrist, whispering,"please.. my lord.. st-stay with me.. a while longer.." he stares down.

Kurai paused, then nodded. "Alright. And.. You don't need to call me Lord. Just call me Kurai."

Kami slowly nods, reluctantly releasing Kurai's wrist, whispering,"thank you.."

"You look depressed." Kurai said, raising an eyebrow. He had his usual 'cheerful' expression on though inside he was anything but that.

Kami shakes his head, staring up at him,"Kurai.. please.. dont have that fake look on your face.. be.. be yourself near me.. thats all i ask of you.."

"I can't, that's the problem. I lost the real me already." It was Kurai's turn to look away, his eyes on the floor.

Kami frowns, stepping closer,"no.. its still inside.. waiting to get let out.. i know it is.."

"No. The real me isn't there anymore. The real me died long ago." He muttered, started to draw, which was what he did when he tried to avoid thinking about his past.

[Spadez (or Nyx), The Corucia King]

Kami shakes his head, whispering,"i've never given up on you.. so i wont.. Kurai.. you dont have to hide it from me.."

"Why did I have to become King anyways.." Kurai muttered, sitting on the ground. They were by an abandoned building so he chose to sit down. End and end.

Kami sits in front of him,"because, you're the strongest, and the smartest. you are also charming and mysterious, you fit the part perfect.."

"That's not what the previous King said." Kurai muttered under his breath, but just shrugged. "Thanks."

Kami whispers,"its.. from my eyes.. Kurai.."

"I understand." Kurai said. "Don't always whisper, Kami. Talk louder, alright?"

Kami blinks, nodding as he speaks louder,"of course.. i appologize.."
