First you have to know your specific Kindle eMail.
If you have a Kindle, you can find your e-mail address two different ways:
1) One is to click on your Kindle Menu, then Settings icon, then My Account.
2) The second is to go to www.amazon.com/myk and click on Manage Your Devices, then look at the Kindle information. (The right device, green arrow; your eMail address, red arrow.)
Screen #1
The Kindle e-mail is for sending personal docs to your Kindle, which include documents that are converted for you into a Kindle-compatible format.
If you want to sent it via wi-fi, you just have to put the word “free” in front of the address, i.e., @kindle.com becomes @free.kindle.com
I understand that sending something the “free” way will also ensure you don’t get charged for emailing yourself a file.
Send an eMail to your Kindle address, add the attached PDF file, and wait a few minutes.
