Finished chapters 1-10.

I'm finding the story interesting but at the same time a bit slow.

(view spoiler)[ I'm really curious if Jeff will stay "good", as he appears to be at the moment, or if his knowing where he comes, genetically, will change him. Or if it won't have matter and he will change any way?

Jeff's dad sounds crazy! He thinks he's descended from Jack the Ripper and is happy about it? Crazy! Plus why did he just abandon Jeff? Is this another experiment to see how he'll behave or is there a more sinister reason? (hide spoiler)]

Sorry, I'm a little behind on this one. I'm at chapter 8 where it starts off that his dad thinks that he is Jack the Ripper. Very interesting read so far. I would agree that some parts are a little slow, especially his interaction with Castillo. I did have to do a little research to look up who some of the serial killers are because I wasn't familiar with all of them... holy smokes. Scary stuff. I wish that the author added those details in there for the reader, but I could see why they had to leave it out for it to be a YA novel.
