Jes - Let's see if I can beat last year
Book 2 - Buffy the Vampire Slayer: FreefallIt's been a long while since I watched Buffy. Might need to go back for a refresher...
As always, gotta love Joss Whedon.
Good luck this year! I've just finished watching season 1 of Buffy this week - got to love time off!
Book 3 - Zits en Concert: A Zits® TreasuryThanks, Jess! I was considering re-watching since my hubby hasn't seen most of it.
Book 4 - MWF Seeking BFF: My Yearlong Search For A New Best FriendAlthough there is a lot of statistics and filler crap, I like the book overall. As someone who has moved across the country a few times, it can be reallllllly difficult to make new friends. I think that I should do something like this, I seriously need some face to face girl time.
Book 5 - A Street Cat Named Bob: How One Man and His Cat Found Hope on the StreetsI love feel-good books with cats.
Book 8 - Strange BrewAverage murder-mystery. Great narrator for the audiobook!
I'm sad that I've read all the Cat Who books by Lilian Jackson Braun. They were wonderful fluffy mysteries, great audiobooks. I really need something to fill that gap.
Book 9 - Catalog Living at Its Most Absurd: Decorating Takes (Wicker) BallsA few LOL moments. Now every time I look at a catalog I'll be looking for goofy shit that doesn't make sense.
Book 14 - Eat, Pray, Love4 Years later, and I still love this book. Now the question is: Should I re-watch the movie?
Book 15 - The Weird SistersI like the writing style... slightly reminiscent of Alice Hoffman. However, I kept waiting for something, anything, to happen.
Book 25 - Mad About the BoyI liked this one, possibly more than the first two. I still find it weird that there was such a gap in time between this and the previous book.
Book 28 - The Walking Dead, Vol. 08: Made to SufferOops, accidentally skipped 7... gotta put that on hold at the library.
This one was brutal.
Book 31 - TritonCouldn't put this book down. It has it's flaws, but damn - it is captivating. I'm still deciding how I feel about the ending though. Not at all what I expected.
Book 37 - The VanishingThe first third was creepy and promising. But the rest was SO disappointing! I was hoping for a curveball and some action. But all I got was a whiny main character that cried in the shoulder of any man she could find. Ugh, I hated the ending.
I hate when authors ruin a good idea.
Book 38 - The Lost Art of MixingI love the way this author writes. This wasn't *as* good as The School of Essential Ingredients... But it was good. These books make me want to get rid of everything I own and relocate to the pacific northwest.
Book 39 - DraculaThis book was like foreplay with a new lover. Taking hours of build up, exploration, hints and flirting, and finally get down to it and it's like a bottle rocket - light, whiz, pop all in 3 seconds.
Terrible end. So disappointed.
Book 43 - LullabyUgh. What an awful book. I really like Fight Club, thought I would enjoy more of his work.
