Having read the first thread on Audio Books I wanted to get some reader (listener) feedback on the topic. I am considering offering some of the books I publish as audio books. My dilemma is the file size and delivery of the book on the one hand and the presentation or reading of the manuscript on the other.
I am certain I can figure out how to package and deliver the product. What I wonder is whether I should have the book read, or 'acted out'. By that I mean does the narrator simply read out the text or do they add their own accent and voice to each character. Or should I organise actors to read the parts much like in a radio play?

What do you guys prefer?
