I hate how she died but... She died by being selfless and brave. She died with the traits she learned and valued the most. I'm pretty sure that is why Veronica Roth did it. It sucks. But also to show Tris' journey throughout the series.

Im same about Uriah but sad about Tris, I loved Tobias (not weird love im a boy) but still sad about Tris, It would have been mor romantic if Tobias came back with a ring and Tris didn't die. :(
She tried to kill me and it worked I'm just so depressed about uriahs death :(

It's been like over 7 or 8 months since I read it and I still cry when I think about it. I think it's the rightful ending but god it's so sad!
Okay, so she SURVIVED the death serum. Perfect ending. But of course someone has to shoot her! I'm mean really Veronica Roth????
Yup true that! That's just pathetic! I was an emotional wreck I just finished re reading it and I still balled my eyes out when she died. Thank god for tumblr otherwise I would have been a mess for days
Yeah I was so mad when she was dying and saw her mom I was like "No, don't die you survived the death serum and your healthy and have so much potential. Don't die on me!" Then She dies.
Obviously tris's death was so sad! I bawled my eyes out when I read that she died because she is my favorite heroin. She exemplifies so many brave and amazing qualities. She so strong and I just love her! But Tobias's reaction to her death was what threw me over the edge. I think that's what makes it so freaking tragic and sad, because they really believed they would have a life togetehr after the experiment. And it just sucks so much because they just got over a rocky patch in their relationship. And they just love eachother so love and it hurts!
I cried when tobias almost took the memory serum...I was like, "TOBIAS YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO TRIS. SHE WOULD NEVER FORGIVE YOU."
Oh god I was just starting to calm down but them I got to that part and I lost it again
Shame on you Veronica! How could you do this to us???No...i still love u( as an author of course duh) but WHYYYYYYYYY? Why would u kill Tris? as if Uriah's death wasn't enough. I literally started crying. I was like,"No Tris. Don't you dare go near that light- Tris don't you freakin' dare. You hear me Tris, you cant leave me. TRISSSSSSSSSSSS." I was so sad. And she almost made it. she was right there. I was so happy thinking that it was all almost over and that Tris and Tobias could live happily together after all the crap they'd been through, and then Veronica shattered my dreams. It doesnt hurt as bad now- i read the book like 9 months ago- but i still cant believe Tris is gone. I cant even imagine Tobias growing old without Tris... So sad. *tear tear*
That's exactly what I was doing. I started crying and literally wanted to throw the book at the wall or out the window. It was so horrible.
Ohhhhh Veronica Roth. That was totally and completely UNFORGIVABLE!!!!dont u ever do that to us readers again!
I suppose it made sense and all, but still! I WANT TRIS BACK. I kept thinking she would come back alive somehow... But nope! SHE'S DEAD :(
We should all just come up with our own ending where she is alive
there shouldn't always be a happy endong.. that's cliche and very typical.. ."... and they loved happily ever after" nah i think a little Duantless-ism from Veronica was pretty good

So I heard Romeo miller is trying to get the part of Uriah. I didn't know who he was but I looked up a pic and I just can't see him as Uriah. He's supposed to be this carefree fun loving looking guy. A little goofy and this guy just doesn't cut it. I hope he doesn't get cast as him .
I agree, I think that although any actor can act a part, they need to look the part a little too.
