Yes you really must read them! Especially if you're feeling depressed cause even though they're dystopian they're not really dark.... The second book is irritating at times though

Yes! I felt like the entire book was her going back and forth between Aspen and Maxon!

I know right! I felt like something else should have happened in The Elite other than America not knowing who to pick. Really the only big event is what happens to Marlee

I think it will be. I feel like a lot of authors write a second book as a filler. Really, The selection could have been longer, and then she could have chosen who she wanted in The Elite. Then, if Kiera had wanted to build on the story with a third book, that would have made the series flow better.

Nice explanation. Maybe this is just me nit-picking, but the name America Singer really bothers me.

I don't like that she's an entertainer and her last name is singer! And also the fact that her country used to be called America is sorta weird. Epically since America the country obviously did not work out for some people haha! But I think the fact that her name is America is in a way, a sort of rebellion. So, the Singer part bothers me a little, but I can learn to live with America!
