Peggy PUT ME ON THE LIST

David Light and breezy. I really liked this book.

Lori Baldi I read this almost exactly a year ago and though I did like it, it was not my favorite by Russo which remains Empire Falls by Richard Russo . This was the first book that I read by Russo so each of his books that I've read since then aren't up to the suprise of the first.

That Old Cape Magic was really good for 2 things for me: the comedy and the setting. The scene where people get hurt was so hilariously funny that I was laughing out loud. Doesn't happen often but it was a very well written scene. And the setting of Cape Cod is one of my favorite places in the world. Russo obviously loves the Cape also and it comes through in his writing. I appreciate and enjoy that.

Sharon Smartt Not quite finished with the book yet; but I have read the part where everyone was injured and it was a hoot. Can't wait to get to the end !

Elisamatt @Jeff--the characters are like my family members, too. Since my mother died, I also hear her voice (not hallucinations) nagging. Though she's not in the trunk.
