It's been on my must-read list for a while and I only recently found the paperback copy.
Loved the book, a great historical fiction novel that is so well written it really takes you back to Prohibition-era NYC. Great plot twist, read the entire book in a day and couldn't put it down!
4/5
Next to read: How to Fall in Love by Cecelia Ahern.

Bought a new book at ASDA, they have some on sale for £1! And also purchased the Rosie Project - there's a possibility this is going to be a group read on here in February, and if not, it looks good anyway :)

A solid chick-lit novel that made me cry & laugh out loud in places (the 'egg white' scene had me howling!)
I love the message of the book, it was beautiful.
4/5
Not sure what my next read will be just yet, I have quite a few on my TBR list so I'm going to see what takes my fancy!

Sounds fantastic!

Currently reading: Little Face by Sophie Hannah
This is my £1 bargain book from ASDA, the blurb on the back piqued my interest straight away:
'Her husband David was supposed to be looking after their two-week-old daughter. But when Alice Fancourt walks into the nursery, her terrifying ordeal begins, for Alice insists the baby in the cot is a stranger she's never seen before.'
It's a tense thriller with a lot of suspense and I'm really enjoying it so far, I'm halfway through already and only started reading it at lunchtime!

Overall, a promising read turned sour in the last third or so, but it did keep me gripped to the very end so I could find out what happened -however I can't help but be disappointed with the finale.
2/5 - would not recommend
Again, I'm not sure what my next read will be, but I'm hoping I won't be left as disappointed with the next book!

Slightly longer than other books I have been reading so far at 520 pages but I am really enjoying it so far!

Definitely recommended, especially if you enjoy books/films with intertwining stories (such as Love Actually) or that run through various time periods.
5/5 - excellent read!
Next to read: I treated myself to a trip to Waterstone's today so may choose a new read from there...

Good news - I got my first Kindle! It's a hand me down from my best friend as she got a brand new all singing all dancing one for her birthday and gave her old one to me. I'm very old fashioned and never envisioned myself reading from a Kindle but I have to say I'm enjoying it! It certainly comes in handy, and it is SO easy to add new books to it - I've only got free ones so far, but I am keeping an eye on the books on my wishlist and checking out the cost, it's going to be a lot cheaper to download them than buy them outright.
Problem is, it's going to cost me a fortune once I start paying for them! 'Just one more book...' will be my new catchphrase!
I named my Kindle Mr. Darcy, so in his honour the first book I am reading on it is Pride & Prejudice, one of my most favourite books.
I am hoping to finish that in the next day or so and then make a proper start on The Rosie Project, February's Group Read.
I promise I haven't forgot about my challenge, hopefully the weather will calm down and I'll get to have a life again!
