You know you're having a bad day when you first lock your key inside the door.

Then your flight is delayed and eventually cancelled.

Finally they put you up in a hotel and take all 200 of you in buses but they don't send enough buses! So you have to watch all the other people drive off in their warm comfy buses while you stand in the cold.

The hotel they put us up in though was a 5 star hotel and it was free. So that's the only upside. :/

My boss just fired me not because I'm a bad worker but because a girl who used to work there is coming back for the SUMMER and so she just decided to fire me just because she likes this other girl better even though she's only going to be there for the summer and I was available all year round and even though she told me I did nothing wrong but she just wants to replace me with their old kennel person.....

It's not in the least bit. I have a dog to feed and bills to pay (and books to buy). I have literally only been home for 4 days (I went on vacation to Florida with Grandparents) and I just lost my job... however a little update, I think I just found a new job at a hotel :) :) not much but it's something

When your Kindle malfunctions and you lose most of your review copies and arcs. To make matters worse most of them are archived and now I have send in reviews explaining what happened.

I tried as I'm in my cloud right now going through it. I have a hard copy of all the review copies I got accepted for and I missing titles such as Everything Everything, More than This, Did I Mention I need you? , The Lost Heir, Breaking Sky, You Were Here, etc. I know for sure that I downloaded these titles as soon as I got them from Netgalley and they aren't showing up in my cloud.

I feel like the worse person ever right now. I'm so grateful there are these websites out there that let people review books. I'm freaking out. This isn't the end of the world. Its a stupid tech problem and tech problems happen.

My boss is not bad, it's just that he and I think very, very differently, and he wants me to anticipate things that I can't, and I'm stressed right now, due to personal matters (my mom is doing chemo)

Oh dear, that's bound to be stressfull, I hope she's feeling better soon.

She's about halfway through the treatment, which ends in major surgery, in late October, so she still has a bit of a stretch before it's over. She is doing well, considering the circumstances, but it's always tough to deal with the diagnosis and the treatment
