I must have a different edition with the same ISBN. I see where you got the 784 pages but mine is truly 728. I also noticed that the edition you are talking about is from Bantam Books in 2002. Mine is from the same publisher but is from the year 2011.

I couldn't find a link. This one is the one for the original 761 which I was trying to change:

I see where they could get the 761 because if you include the appendix for my book, it is actually 761. I used the very last page of the actual story and it is 728. I can drop the case and leave it at 784 if you feel comfortable with that. At least my cover is the exact same as this 784 page edition.

For future reference, we do generally count appendices in page count.

There is at least one edition with that page count (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9...), but it has a different cover and format.
