We could all turn the degrees on our thermostat 2 degrees up in summer, and two degrees down in winter. It would help :)

RedPath I use cloth bags instead of plastic and paper and we grow herbs. I'm trying to convince my parents to use clothes lines instead of a dryer. I'm also trying to get them to buy some saplings to plant.

message 88: by Dapplenose (new)

Dapplenose when i grow up i want to have a garden...

message 89: by Dapplenose (new)

message 98: by Kasacasa (new)

Kasacasa | 7 comments A good way to conserve water is to not run water while brushing your teeth. Wait until you're done brushing. Imagine if everyone in the US did that how much water would be saved?!

message 99: by Rei (new)

Rei (greatestsparrow) i went to a global warming rally in my city, we marched down the main street chanting and everything, it got on the news apparently... but i don't think we changed anyone's minds about global warming as far as i can see... everything seems the same as always...

thought i did tell off the man across the road for hosing his driveway IN THE RAIN and he hasn't done it since ;P

message 100: by Kasacasa (new)

Kasacasa | 7 comments Applauding for you! You marched and did something. I don't think people like to think about it too much because it so big to fix. They don't realize that if everyone did one little thing, what a big ripple it would make.
And look, the man across the road does not hose his driveway when it's raining. One step.
