Kelsey (kelsey_simon) | 103 comments I am looking for a beta reader for my YA fantasy post apocalyptic novel. I have rewritten it a few times and edited it so it shouldn't have many grammatical issues.

I would love to swap or find a crit partner to work with in the future. I read YA mostly (80% of what I read and mostly fantasy. I don't know how good I would be at critiquing a contemporary YA) so that would be my strong point with a swap.

What I am looking for: I really need someone to help me figure out what needs further development in the story or if there are plot holes, etc. More overall feedback. My story is on the short side, at about 55,000 words, so I know some element of development is missing but I just cant figure it out. I need someone more amazing to help me!

Let me know if you'd be willing to beta, or would like to swap. I would also be happy to exchange emails and send the first few pages to anyone interested.

Thanks so much!

S.J. Pierce | 2 comments Hi, Kelsey! I wouldn't mind swapping if you wanted to! I just posted about my YA PNR novel, Captivate Me, if you want more details about my book. If you're interested in swapping, here's my email :)

T.J. Carroll Hi Kelsey and S.J.! I know I'm a couple weeks late to this discussion but I'm interested in swapping too if either (or both) of you are still looking for a critique partner. I just finished a YA paranormal MS (86,000 words) and I'd love to get some additional opinions on it. I'm looking for big picture stuff mostly - plot holes, character development etc. I should be done with my current round of edits by this weekend if either of you are still interested.

Thanks!

maybe, but it would have to be a week or two from now, because I'm finishing up my swap with SJ and then I want to spend a week changing things based on the input I got before handing it out again. If you wanted to wait a week and see, that would be best for me.

Hey T.j I would be interested in doing a swap with you. I have 3/4 of a YA Urban fantasy written and would like someone to give me feedback on my style of writing, character development etc. If you are interested in doing a swap my email is briegehavern1@hotmail.com
