Last year I read 85 books. This year I would like to read a minimum of 86 and a max of 104. I've estimated that will be two books a week. Good luck everyone!

I'm a little loathe to say anything negative about anything Neil Gaiman writes. I've really enjoyed his books for children. That being said, I found Neverwhere formulaic. The characters all fit into specific tropes that only had the veneer of originality from the macabre fantasy setting. And even that felt "shocking" only for the sake of shock value. That being said, I am one person in a sea of people who have loved this book so I would say read it for yourself and take my opinion of it with a grain of salt. I hope it's the book for you that it wasn't for me!
So I've been adding my books recently and I feel like I'm cheating. I read a lot of manga. An absurd amount and in my personal records I only count a series towards my reading goals when the series is finished. Well goodreads doesn't have that option for completed series so I've been adding the manga volumes as I go. I feel like this has grossly expanded the legitimate number or books I've read. Am I right in this concern or am I just nitpicking?
