Just curious, why did you specifically pick pit bulls to be the attacking dogs?

i'm not the author, but i'm guessing because they are often portrayed in the media as being like that - so it was an easy out (for lack of a better word) - there is that natural assumption
I would guess that as well, I just wish that it could have been some "big dogs" rather then specifying, there are after all so many mixes. I will leave it at that.
Kassandra, Dee is pretty much right. My editor is such a dog lover that it's the only breed she would believe could be capable of ever doing something like that--and even then I was very careful to specify that it was the owner's fault for the way they were trained and raised, not the dogs' fault. I have nothing against pit bulls. My nephew has one and I adore it.
