Do you actually have the book, as Worldcat says 186. Also the publisher website refers to the book from 1997, this edition has 1979 as a date. But maybe the year is the wrong info, because the 9780860680642 edition has the correct number of pages (186), and this is the alternate cover edition.

I have this cover/edition and it's 256.
