Lori's 75 book challenge for 2014

I only read a few books off my shelf last year and I really hope to do better this year. I think my goal will be to read 35 of the 75 books off my shelf this year.

Thank you Karol and Elyse, I hope that simply reading the different series I have on my shelves will cover at least 30 books. I can't wait to start posting finished books!

I'm trying to read more of my 'older' books too- I've got some that have been on my shelves for years- but people keep publishing new books faster than I'm reading! It's hard to keep up ;)

Stacie I know what you mean! If only I didn't have to work, then I would have more time for important things, like reading and knitting!

#1 A Different Witch by Debora Geary, Kindle. It was ok

#2 Lakeshore Christmas by Susan Wiggs, Library. Enjoyed it, nice Christmas story. I just didn't have time at Christmas to actually read it.

I set a goal to read half of my 75 from my TBR shelf this year. We'll see how that goes!! Good luck with your challenge!

That's another great idea. I try to read from my TBR shelf but I also add free/cheap books to my Kindle and Nook and I like reading those at night in bed.

I know Andrea, I am to the point that I prefer to read from my kindle. Especially in bed at night, it doesn't hurt so much if I fall asleep and the kindle hits me in the face.
