"Ahh. Got it." He said, not getting it at all. 'I didn't know people in Dauntless actually read.' He thought to himself. 'Oh well. And get that confused look off your face! You don't look intelligent with it on!' With swiftness, he took the confused look that had settled without his knowledge off his face. "So. What was it like? In Dauntless?"

message 252: by [deleted user] (new)

((Yeah. But my writing style is different. I use ' ' I use italics for like emphasis on a word.))

"Reckless..." He trailed off. He could believe that the Dauntless were reckless. And like she said, jumping off if trains every day. The poor peoples. They probably were not able to carry a book while they jumped.

message 253: by [deleted user] (new)

Branden nearly laughed at the memory. "Honest. Too honest. I come in carrying a book and everyone says I look ridiculous and I look like someone from Erudite. I get why everyone calls it the Merciless Mart."

message 254: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yeah..." He trailed off. He had no idea what else to say. It was a little awkward...

message 255: by [deleted user] (new)

Branden nodded his head enthusiastically. "Of course I did. I finish things the same day I get them. Did you finish?"

message 256: by [deleted user] (new)

"I did sixteen pages." He started sweating. What if sixteen pages wasn't enough? What if he became factionless because he didn't know how to write a long essay? The thought sent a shudder down his spine.

message 257: by [deleted user] (new)

"Shoot." He muttered. He then pulled out a pad of paper and began writing more to his essay. There was no way that he was going to write less than twenty five now.

message 258: by [deleted user] (new)

"No. I just don't want to have less." He muttered as he viciously wrote.

message 259: by [deleted user] (new)

"I've been doing essay writes my whole life. Secretly of course. But I know what I'm doing. And the end cant match the beginning. It's only logical. You cant rewrite the beginning paragraph.

message 260: by [deleted user] (new)

He shot a smile at her. "Thank goodness for keyboards then." He continued to allow his hand to fly across the page.

message 261: by [deleted user] (new)

Branden rolled his eyes. "Do you mind? It's a little bothersome when you are trying to stop me from writing more."

message 262: by [deleted user] (new)

"Done." He said. Branden read through it. Everything looked perfect. Absolutely perfect. He knew how to add on and it was one of the things he was good at. "Now if you don't mind, I will me right back. I have to go type this up." He stood up for his seat and started towards the door.

message 263: by [deleted user] (new)

He poked his head back in. "You're a little lonely. You're welcome to come with." He offered.

message 264: by [deleted user] (new)

((Library.))

"Pretty fast." He answered in reply. His pace quickened. Branden had no intensions of being lat to initiation, but he wanted to type this up.

message 265: by [deleted user] (new)

Branden took up the desk behind Bekah and opened his book. He started reading about the wonders of genetic mutations.

message 266: by [deleted user] (new)

((I'm sorry.))

"You okay?" He asked, sensing her tension.

message 267: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River glanced over at Branden. He seemed a little... obsessive to him. River had been eavesdropping when they had been discussing the length of essays, and he wondering how on Earth somebody could even consider adding more to a sixteen-page essay... He looked down at his desk, feeling self-satisfied, in some weird, backwards way, that he had only written two pages.

message 268: by [deleted user] (new)

((Yeah...))

"Okay." He said, not totally believing her. His attention turned back to his book and he continued reading.

message 269: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River raised his eyebrows back, nodding to Branden.

message 270: by [deleted user] (new)

Branden nodded. "So far. So good."

message 271: by [deleted user] (new)

Branden didn't notice the other boy's nod. He was too busy reading his book full of facts and awesomeness.

message 272: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "So... What's up?" River asked, hoping to break the tension spreading heavily throughout the room.

message 273: by [deleted user] (new)

Branden nodded slowly in agreement. He want paying too much attention to River and Bekah.

message 274: by [deleted user] (new)

Branden jumped at the noise. "What was that?" He demanded. His eyes looked wildly around for the source of the noise.

message 275: by [deleted user] (new)

Branden returned to his own book, not caring. There was no point in caring about some one dropping their book. That was their problem, not his.

message 276: by [deleted user] (new)

Branden continued to scan his book. His mind was taking in every drop if information.

message 277: by [deleted user] (new)

Branden continued to read.

message 278: by [deleted user] (new)

Branden looked up from his book at her. 'Glasses? I hope those aren't fake. Too many people here wear glasses to look smarter.'

message 279: by [deleted user] (new)

((Wha? He didnt say anything.))

message 280: by CJ (last edited Apr 06, 2014 08:52AM) (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River watched them, wondering whether he should get himself a pair of fake glasses just to annoy them.

message 281: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River laughed. "Whenever I look at somebody wearing glasses, they either look away, or they take them off!" he commented.

message 282: by [deleted user] (new)

Branden couldn't help but laugh. His hand flew up to his mouth quickly, but his laugh still escaped.

message 283: by [deleted user] (new)

Bekah's glare only made Branden's laugh harder. He didn't know why, but it was just funny.

message 284: by [deleted user] (new)

"I'm sorry." He said, gasping for breath. He calmed himself down and returned to his book.

message 285: by [deleted user] (new)

His eyes read every word carefully. As if each individual word was the key to saving the world

message 286: by [deleted user] (new)

((KK))

message 287: by [deleted user] (new)

((Sorry. I have to go now. I wont be on for a few hours.))

message 288: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments Well, now that he'd seen her reaction, River felt really bad about teasing Bekah about her glasses. "Well, I think you look pretty with them on," he said politely.

message 289: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "You're welcome," he replied quickly. It felt weird to be polite...

((Okay! :) ))

message 290: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "No, not at all... This is a very strange sensation..." River admitted, wrinkling his nose.

message 291: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "Oh, good!" River exclaimed, "I now have an excuse not to use it!"

message 292: by [deleted user] (new)

"You should still at least try to be polite, maybe." Branden whispered, his voice was barely audible.

message 293: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "What was that?" River asked.

message 294: by [deleted user] (new)

"Nothing." He raised his voice and shook his head.

message 295: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments "Okay," River shrugged, "If it turns out that it was something, just let me know."

message 296: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River turned to her.

message 297: by [deleted user] (new)

"Wha?" Branden asked, turning his attention to Bekah.

message 298: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments PURE CHAOS wrote: "((Holy cow... I am not willing to read this conversation, so I'll say Catron fell asleep...))"

((LOL! Yes, just do that.))

message 299: by Shav (new)

Shav (keelahlove) | 34 comments Xander looked up at the three. He had been sitting behind Bekah for a while now but hadn't really payed attention to them.

message 300: by CJ (new)

CJ | 1497 comments River twiddled his thumbs a bit, bored.
