"You guys," River supplied, refraining from adding 'flirting.'
"I know," River laughed, "But it was still easier to leave."
"It was kind of obvious," he pointed out, "His eyes were all glazed over; didn't you notice?"
River's only response was to form a halo out of his hands and hold it over his head.
River smirked to himself, letting his hands fall. ((Night!))
River amused himself by flicking through the two pages of his essay with his thumb.
Xander hurries into the room with his essay. He had to go back to the library to pick it up.
Xander walked up to Bekah. "hey there."
"yeah, I hope it's alright." Xander grabs a envelope to put the papers in. "where's yours?"
"I wonder when we'll get to know if we passed. Fiona's been very absent lately."
River turned to look at him, too. "Children? Yes, that what we all are, Mr. Superior!" he laughed.

Xander decides to take a seat at a vacant desk behind Bekah.

Branden entered the room and took a look around. Deciding to settle with a book, he grabbed one about science and genetics and sat down to read in a corner.

Mae looked up at Bekah with a smile. "The Fellowship of the Ring," she told her happily, showing her the cover. "Have you read it?"

Seeing that he was unwanted, Branden grabbed his book and headed for the door.

((And I also don't like it when people use me as a last resort. When their RP partner has left them. Then they come get me because I am normally flexible about this stuff and I say ill RP with them. Then their RP partner comes back and I get disposed of.))

((Whoa... I'm just reading back through all these posts, and trying to figure out what Mackenzie actually did to offend Luna... I must be missing something, because all I see is Luna complaining about being shoved into a corner and two other people trying to let her in... Again, I must being reading the wrong thing, or something...))
Branden turned around in the doorway. "I guess I'll stay a little." He mumbled. Then retreating from the back of the corner, he headed to where the two girls were.
He gave a curt nod and stumbled towards the desk that she had indicated.
"Branden." He replied quickly. 'Don't make any mistakes. Anything you do can appear intelligent or not intelligent. Make you moves wisely.' He advised himself. Branden shifted around in his seat nervously.
'Where did I come from?' He asked himself. He was having a momentary black out. Not good. After a few short seconds, he finally remembered. "Candor. You?"
Branden just took her answer. It wasn't his place to ask why people left. It was almost like, prying, and there was no way he wanted to do that. Deciding to shift the conversation away from the past, he asked a simple question. "Have you read any good books lately?"
He gave a slow nod. He didn't understand. How could there be not time for books? But maybe she was right. Maybe it would be smarter to just focus on initiation.
