Eira walked briskly to the forest trying to get there as fast as possible. She led Eli under a tree and sat down.
Eli just felt weaker and weaker the entire way here but as soon as he touched the tree he felt reborn, he quickly stood up and hugged the tree and without even thinking about it he made the branches reach down as if the tree was hugging him back, then with a sigh he grinned at his cousin, "thank you"
"No problem." she said shrugging. She smiled and picked a leaf off the ground. She put a layer of frost over the leaf and set it down again.
Eli loosened his power on the tree after returning it to normal, he walked over then sat down with Eira and just smiled, "I don't like the city" he laughed, he'd felt like this only twice before, yet his whole family knew about this weakness of his and how it worked
"Maybe we can arrange for you to have a room in the garden?" Eira suggested. "I think that might help you get used to it." She said returning the smile. It was nice to know that she could trust someone here.
((K, I'm jumping in now! haha!)) Annie liked forests. They were safe not only for her, but for anyone around her. There was never glass in a forest, so she didn't have to worry about causing an accident. She wandered around a bit, just listening to the birds sing and the wind rustling the trees. She had remembered Eli and that girl he left with... what was her name again?... saying that they were going to the forest so Eli could recharge or something. She didn't mean to follow them there, she had been wandering in the city and had suddenly found herself at the outskirts of the woods. She kept walking aimlessly, not really paying attention to where she was going, her fingers rubbing the swirly pattern on her pendant.
Eira heard a noise. She shot up from the ground and glanced around the forest.
Annie continued to walk, leaves and twigs crunching beneath her feet. She still let her mind wander, but tried to block out memories of her parents. Although she knew it was good for her to learn to control her powers, she missed traveling.
Eira saw the girl walk throught the woods... A girl from the café. Eir cleared her throat and stepped out from the tree.
Eli chuckled a little with his grin, he like the idea of being able to live in the forest again, he could even sense one of the others, one they met from that strange building in the town, Eli felt everything around him, he was connected to nature again, he still found it amazing how short a time it took for him to miss the connection and collapse like he did, "Over here" he called out from behind Eira
Annie turned suddenly, a bit surprised. A ways away Eli and his friend stood in the middle of the woods. She cracked a smile and began to head their way. When she was almost there, she asked, "What are you guys doing out here?"
"Eli needed to get back to nature. So I helped him before he collapsed from the separation. What are you doing here!" She countered filing her pale arms across her chest an swinging her hair over her shoulder.
Annie shrugged, crossing her arms too. "Wandering," She said shortly, coming to a complete stop in front of them.
Eira stifled a smile. They, Annie and Herself, were alike. They both had trust issues, and tended to wander. Emirs nodded her head, "interesting." She said with matching shortness.
Eli continued laughing for a second then ran up and gave them both a hug, "I'll see you guys later, I wanted to check something out" he said with a grin and before ether of them could say anything he'd run off and literally disappeared into the trees
Annie noticed the girl open up slightly. She realized that she must be a lot like her... doesn't open up to others her age, doesn't like to stay in one place. "What did you say your name was again?" She asked, letting her hands fall to her side.
Eira frowned slightly as Eli rushed off, leaving her alone. Well, almost alone.
"Eira Frost." She stated takin a couple steps away and sitting t the base of the tree again.
"Eira Frost." She stated takin a couple steps away and sitting t the base of the tree again.
Annie leaned up against a tree not so far away. "I'm going to go out on a limb and say you have powers over snow and stuff," She said, a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
"That's a good hunch." Eira said fake clapping. "Whats yours, following people?" She stated plainly. She uncrossed her arms and moved her hair to a different shoulder.
Again, Annie clenched her pendent, fear suddenly gripped her heart. "No," She shot, "I can manipulate and create glass. And It's not my fault that your name is a dead giveaway of your powers."
Eira shrugged. "I don't care if it does or not, I can still freeze someone's but off anytime I want." She stated casualy. Then wondered I she actually could do it. "Are you willing to show me what you can do, or do you have trust issues as well?" Coyly stated Eira.
Annie continued to fiddle with her pendent. "I'd love to show you," she began "but last time I tried using them, people got hurt." She paused to see Eira's reaction. "And I do have minor trust issues," She added quickly, trying to act as if her lack of control didn't bother her.
Eira nodded. She rememberd all the times she couldn't keep it under control, resulting with her father kicking her out of the house, while she was still in middle school. "I understand." She finally said. "But you will learn to control them eventually. Don't worry." She added. She didn't know why she was reassuring this girl, but she was copying what her air told her once.
Annie cracked a smile, a real smile, and felt herself open up a bit. "Thanks," She said, "I've never been good at staying in control. I've caused a lot of accidents," She knew she should be embarrassed by that, but she felt more ashamed. She wanted to make her parents proud, wherever they were now, but she just kept messing up. Her grandmother was very understanding and never gave up on her, but still....
"I'll tell you about mine if your tell me yours." Eira said referring to Annie's accidents. She patted the ground that was close, but not too close, for her to come sit down.
Annie was a little suspicious at first, but she figured Why not? Eira seemed a lot like her and she guessed that it was probably the healthy thing to do... share that is. She sat down on the ground next to Eira. "You or me first?" She asked.
"Lets flip a leaf" Eira said finding a leaf that was more green on one side, and yellow on the other. "Pick a color." she suggested.
"Green," Annie stated. She wasn't sure how a leaf would work because it was so light, but, like before, she was trying new things and decided to just go with it.
Eira nodded, she touched the leaf and froze both sides. She tossed it up I the air and it fluttered down to the ground, after floating in the wind for a couple seconds.
For some reason, when Annie saw Eira using her powers, it made her want to use her own. It took a lot of self control to not shoot glass at something, she knew it would have been a disaster anyway. Last time she tried to use her powers her grandmother had to get all her windows replaced and they were picking shards of glass out of their hair for a week. "What side is it on?" She wondered out loud.
"Green." Eira said with a slight smile. "So you decide whether or not you or I shall share first." she added sitting back against the tree. She picked the leaf up and froze it completely.
Annie considered sharing her experiences first, but she barely knew Eira, and although she did like her, she didn't feel completely comfortable with confessing her mistakes and past. "You first," She said sheepishly, feeling a bit cowardly.
Eira nodded. That's what she would of chosen in her shoes. "Well, in first grad we had a freak snow storm. Everyone was playing outside in the snow, covered head to toe in thermal clothes. And then there was me, in short selves and shorts. I was doing all the other things the other kids were doing, but I didn't feel cold at all."
"So naturally, they all called me a freak. I ran inside and didn't go out into the snow for the rest if the storm." Finished Eira. She didn't feel upset by the experience, she knew she was different. If people didn't like her because of it, too bad for them.

Matt sits at the base of a tree, spinning a small ball of fire between his hands. He seems to be thinking deep thoughts. He gives his trademark smile, a devilish smirk that flatters most. He evaporates the fire, and switches to water, making various shapes with the liquid.
Aidan walks over and catches glimpse of light. His eyebrows furrow he distinctly recognized the light as being fire and he smelled a slight smoke in the air. He walks over to it rather quickly hoping no one accidentally set something on fire. He stops when he sees a boy his age sitting under a tree with a ball of fire in his hand he smirks, "You might not want to do that where people can see you."
Matt looks up quickly as the fire vanishes. He studies the newcomer, then leans back against the tree again. "I figured no one would be around." He said with a smirk.
"Well the last thing you want is to be accused of trying to burn the forest down." Aidan says observing the boy. He had never met another person with pyrokinesis, that is assuming this boy did have pryokinesis. "Do you control fire?" he asked curiously.
"And water, and earth, and air." Matt says. He scrambles up eagerly. "Would you like to see? I've been working on several things for ages, but never got them quite downpat till recently. I think I actually have the hang of it."
Aidan makes a 'go on' sort of gesture interested to see what he could do. He had to admit he was slightly impressed with the fact he could control 4 different elements; but he was content with just fire.
Matt sticks his tongue out slightly as he concentrates. "This one's simple, but it takes a little time to get right." He holds up a hand, and water condensates from the air. It wiggles and squiggles, then forms a small blade. Matt breathes in, and the water freezes, forming a perfect dagger. "En garde." He jokes, and tosses it at a rock. It smashes. "Eh, cheap toys. Break after a minute of play." He laughs.
Aidan watches impressed and grins at his quip, "All about quality." he jokes back. He smirks, "I don't know much about the other elements but your fire technique is just a bit sloppy."
"Yeah..." Matt says. "I haven't done much with it since I accidentally burned down a barn." He wrinkles his nose. "It was old anyway." He erupts flaming swords in both hands, but they're wavery and fizz out. "Fire used to be my strongest..."
Aidan snaps and a spark comes from his fingers. "I try not to play with fire myself." He has burnt down a few things by accident but he wasn't going to mention them. "Maybe I can help you out then." he offers and holds out a hand, "' names Aidan." he says introducing himself.
"Matt." He replies, shaking his hand. "I'd appreciate your help." He smiles. "After all, when you can't even form a fire arrow, you're pretty bad." An arrow of fire erupts and fizzles. "See?"
"Well your allowed to suck at one element if you can control others decently." Aidan says with a grin. "I be happy to show you a few things. Although I don't have much practice with fire myself. I'm good at controlling it but I never try anything large-scale." As he says this he plays with a small flame in his palm and slowly shapes it into an arrow.
"I'm large scale about everything." Matt laughs. "Size matters, you know." He formed a club out of stone. "Earth is easy, but a bit chunky." A water dagger. "Water flows nicely, but it's sometimes hard to freeze it right..." He pauses, then smiles. "And air..." He pulls his hands back, then twirls them slowly. A small tornado forms in his palm, and he holds it. "Is quite fun to mess around with." The tornado vanishes. "But fire is by far my favorite."
Aidan nods, "You probably like it because it's a challenge. Fire can't be as easily manipulated as the others." He says this while playing with a flame in his hand, "And it's the most dangerous when you think about it." he says smothering the flame and letting smoke escape from his fist.
