Just starting my reread of it. I first read it around 5 or 6 years ago. I expect it will be much different this time, like how it was when I reread Neverwhere. Seemed like a completely different book.
Placed this on hold at the library today. Should get it in a couple of days and be able to start reading it over the holiday weekend.
I am going to follow the discussion because I re-read the entire trilogy in Jan-Feb 2009 and I am curious what people are going to say about it.
It's going to be a busy month considering that I want to read Robin Hobb's new book Dragon Keeper as well.
Just got the book from the kindle store for free! I'm wrapping up my current book and will be starting this one soon...although with so many books on my "to-read" list I might need to become one of those people that can read multiple books at once.
I read it when it first came out, but probably need to reread before discussing. Hmm, wonder where my copy is at?

I know how you feel. I read books in daily rotation because there are so many books I want to read across genres and I can't wait to get to them all. Yesterday, I read a little bit of a historical romance novel and just got to page 56. Today I am reading a little of Gardens of the Moon a fantasy fiction by Steven Erickson. With my work schedule it would probably take me four weeks or more to finish the Erickson if I read just that book. There is no way I can go that long without indulging in other genres like romance, sci fi and suspense. Not to mention the weekly stack of super hero comic books and the occasional magazine.
Sigh! What a struggle. :-)

Maurice, I read that way as well, partly for variety and partly to accomodate the due dates on my library books.
It is good to know that I am not alone, Miriam. One drawback of heavy rotation reading of course is that there is a low probability that I will ever get to subsequent books in a series. There are enough first books to keep me sampling until I die. Oooo! That sounds a little morbid.
Anyway, besides rotation reading, I think the only other option for me would be to learn how to speed read, though I am not sure if speed reading for pleasure would be a meaningful approach.
Patience (in reading one book at a time) is not an option. :-)

Haven't had a chance to start yet but its sitting on my night stand eyeing me ;-) Hopefully I'll get it done in time for the discussion
Have had this book on my shelf for some time now. So hope to finally get to read it in time for the August discussion.

Still reading this..started a bit late unfortunataly. I'm almost done, though. I'm at the part where..** SPOILER ALERT **
[spoiler:]Smithy died, and Burrich was stabbed and left for Dead. Then Burrich basically disowned Fitz for using "the Wit". Omg this was so sad..especially when Smithy wagged his tail one last time and the connection between them died. I tried REALLY hard not to cry. Ack![/spoiler:]
** /SPOILER ALERT **
So yeah..so far I'm really, really enjoying this. Though I'm a bit depressed now. Haha.
I really loved this book. It 's one of my favourite fantasy novels now.
I am terribly curious about Fitz's mother, I hope we'll find out more about her in the future.
@Joe, I cried. A lot.
