Introductions...

I've done three book trailers, and one trailer for an historic CD by a woman trumpeter.

They're fun to do, but they do take time to get them right ... or maybe I'm just a perfectionist. :)

Hi Judith, the music & mayhem do get together in my latest thriller. Beautiful a..."
oh no, not revile!
Welcome to the group Em-em.

Thank you. I can't wait to discuss book with all of you. I think that this is a really fun group!:)

I am a writer previously for a website known as ICE but now work as executive editor for Console Alliance. I have two published books and working on my third. I read everything from chick-lit, transgressional, thriller, philosophical, classics, and many other genres in between. My writing style is the same way thus I no longer seem to write traditionally which may result in some confusion and unpopularity yet Anarchists LOVE my writing. Think of Aldous Huxley mixed in with J.G. Ballard and Chuck Palahniuk.
I look forward to knowing all of you. I do a lot of messaging since I believe more so in personal interaction. Finally, cannot wait to buy the Nook Tablet.

Nice to meet you Alpha Jan

Right now I'm looking for something new to read and I'm not sure what. I'm in the mood for something contemporary--maybe funny--maybe mysterious. (Not at all what I write). I'm a college professor and we're heading into projects/finals soon, so I wouldn't mind leaving reality for a bit.
Nice to meet everyone!
Hi, Christina! Welcome to the group. If I can learn how to find my way around here, believe me, so can you! Look forward to chatting with you. :)

I am Zishan from Bangalore India. Not new to good reads, but didn't use it much earlier. I enjoy reading all genres. Mythology is now-a-days more enticing to me. I hope to find some good suggestions in this group.
Cheers!

Hi Alpha Jan. Welcome to our "little" group. Let me know how you like the Nook Tablet. I have a Nook Color & can't decide if I want to upgrade or not.

Hi Rebecca. Welcome to the group! If you're looking for a great read, something really different, read OF GOOD AND EVIL. For splendid reviews and comments on the book by literary oracles, click, http://nurtureyourbooks.com/vbtblog/?...

Hello my name is Wesley. I've read my whole life but have only gotten to the point that I can go a few days (24 hours really) without literature the last 4 years. I found goodreads a couple years ago. This group seems active and really interesting, I look forward to going through more threads.

Welcome everyone! It's so exciting to see so many new book lovers popping in!
I think Doctor Who rocks! (Even if Matt Smith isn't as great as David Tennant)

I agree, Bridget! Love seeing all the new members!

Hi, Amber! Nice to meet you. I think you've found the perfect group here. So glad to have you join us! :)

The Hitchhiker's Guide is always a good read for "leaving reality". :D

I'm a single mom and currently living in Southern MD. I love to read and travel. -- I read anyting fiction, mainly paranormal, fantasy, historical, and (sometimes) sexy erotica. ;-)

I personally love them both the same because they are so different but i cannot pick to be honest! <3

I'm also a writer. I wrote a book called Tales of Pixie the Cat, it's a cute book of short stories. You can find it on Amazon.
I'd participate in those group reads, but seeing as how many books I need to read on my shelf and lack of easy transportation to the library, I'll wait until a book I own shows up. I own way too many unread books! It totals around 80, in various different genres. I like to read almost any genre.

One time I read the Sleeping Beauty trilogy at work. Never said "OMG" so many times ever.

Mad Gods:

The Antichrist lives. He is wanted dead or alive by Satanists, the Catholic Church and the Dark Nobility.
Kostadino must save him or let the world turn into hell on earth.

Commitment:

Adam watched Mad Gods drag his father to Hell.
Melusine Rothschild, Grande Dame of the Black Nobility wants to raise him. She is part of the World Elite that live by Predatory Ethics and seek to guide him in wielding the power and influence of his dark birthright.
Adam, the teenage Antichrist/AntiXos, wants none of this. He watches his TV shows in one of Danvers Mental Hospital's nice padded rooms, snugly dressed in his own long sleeved, buckled, canvas jacket. He feels safe here away from a hostile, ravaging outside world.
He's horribly wrong.
