I was disappointed as well. After waiting so long for a second novel from Setterfield, this one was just not for me. I know other readers who really enjoyed it though.

Looking forward to the rest of the series. I liked Juliet Immortal, looking forward to reading Romeo Redeemed. I too, was sadden by the Night Circus. I was expecting a little more.
I have Under the Never Sky out from the library right now, and I have the other two waiting for me on hold which I'm going to pick up today. It's hard, especially with popular series, to manage to get them all out at the same time so I can read them back-to-back-to-back the way I like, but I'm glad this one worked out. I plan to read them this week.

I read the series this week. I didn't love it, but I'm not really big into YA so I'm not exactly the target audience. The important thing is that I liked all three books about the same. I know what you mean about series that start strong and then go downhill, and I was happy that didn't happen with this one.

Wow! I can't believe that I did it. This year was a really tough challenge for me. Earlier I started with a lot of potential but this summer, I was really struggling to pick up a book and read. Got a little more momentum this fall and started again. Thank you to everyone that said that I could do it! I really appreciated the encouragement. Looking forward to 2015! Got a stack of books with my name on it.
