Josh (jminhk) | 3 comments Awesome movie! So funny, sweet, touching, and moving with two incredible performances from Maya Rudolph and John Krasinski. The movie follows two thirtysomethings as they try to figure out where they want to raise their soon-to-be baby and whether or not they are losers. In every city they visit they re-connect with family, friends, and couples. All reflect various aspects and stages of human relationships. The couples are all played by amazing actors who each are given their time to shine. I left the movie smiling from ear to ear because I felt I had just watched something really special. Skip Transformers 2 and find this little movie at your theater. So far this is my 2nd favorite movie of the entire summer season so far. Lovely and beautiful movie. Highly, highly recommend it.

Phillip | 10980 comments That's nice to hear. Did Dave Eggers write this? And Sam Mendes directed? I read about it and it sounded good but then I read a negative review of the film, but the reviewer is someone I rarely agree with.

Lulu | 2 comments Just saw this and really liked it. However, I wouldn't say it was a phenomenal movie. It had the potential to be great and then somehow was not executed properly. A.O. Scott ripped it apart in his New York Times review and then pointed out at the end that he by no means disliked it. Oddly enough, this was my reaction. It was a bit cheesy and overly sentimental. All characters aside from John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph were mere caricatures of humans. Rudolph and Krasinski were definitely put on a pedestal for us to admire and yet they were so insecure and nervous about their abilities to parent. The movie is very flawed and yet I thoroughly enjoyed it and cannot imagine anyone seeing it and not liking it.
