Joe Lee My fiance and I are about to finish reading the Rot and Ruin Series and are looking for another zombie series, does anyone have any suggestions. Also if you know of any good vampire or werewolf book series please let me know. Thanks.

Kylie The Zomblog series is amazing, BUT where Rot and Ruin is a very tame YA, Zomblog doesn't pull any punches and is graphic. Especially when it comes to the horrors perpetuated by people on other people.

Dirk Patton Try my new series, Voodoo Plague, available on Kindle from Amazon. Book 1 was published in December and Book 2 should be out before summer. Right now its on special at Amazon for 99 cents. Good reviews both here on Goodreads and on Amazon.

Jennifer Oh read The First Days, thats a great series, also I just finsihed Feed, I am looking forward to the next book, also I recommend FeedMonster Island
Good Reading!

Pen And...Joe McKinney's Dead World series, Dead Hunger Series by Eric A Shelman and Z.A. Recht`s Morningstar Saga
Another good YA series is Charlie Higson`s The enemy Series(only adults turn into zombies)
And Ann Agguire's The Enclave Series (Dystopian with zombie/mutants)

Feed is one book, MOnster Island Another....they kinda merged together...oops!

Galadriel Thoman The Feed trilogy is the best zombie series I've ever read. And I have read pretty much every zombie book ever. I agree with the above sentiments. I don't know if you've read Justin Cronin's The Passage and The Twelve; they are both incredible books. Kinda zombie, kinda vampire? Aftertime and it's two sequels are also very very good. As for vampires, if you haven't yet, you should read The Strain trilogy. For once it's about vampires who are actual monsters and not creatures they do nothing but sparkle and fall in love with chicks 1/10 their age.

Not sure if its been said already but The Walking Dead novels are pretty good. So is the Joe Ledger series which is also written by Maberry.

Meran I second the Joe Ledger series. I made a review last year if you'd like to see what my impressions were. :D

Jennifer Love me some Joe Ledger!!

Jasmine I second Enclave, first in the Razorland series by Ann Aguirre.

Voodoo Plague

Meran I'm not sure why I said "Joe Ledger series" up there. I'm just now reading them.

There was a different series I liked, but it was, essentially, vampires. Sorry for the mis-lead.

Joe Ledger had zombies in the first book, but it's mostly about bio-terrorism, so plagues, GMO human /animal hybrids, finding really old DNA and making it real, and even some cryptozoics (?) like unicorns and dodos....m(I'm on book 3.)

I'm finding them mildly interesting, mostly because I find biology fascinating, but so far, I see these as, excuse the phrase please, "dick lit" (as opposed to "chick lit". ;) What can I say? They sound too similar, great for comparison :) )

Lily Deadlands series by Lily Herne
The White rabbit chronicles by Gena Showalter
These series are good if you don't mind the characters being teens/young adults.

Lorre As the World Dies series by Rhiannon Frater
Alaskan Undead Apocalypse series by Sean Schubert
Mountain Man series by Keith C. Blackmore
Blog of the Dead series by Lisa Richardson

Escape from Furnace series by Alexander Gordon Smith, not with zombies but an amazing horror/thriller series
