I've got her latest one to read, is in the bedroom TBR pile which is more likely to be read soon than those lurking in the back bedroom :)

Thanks for posting about your review for this book, Sharon. It is now high on my to read list. I grew up in country NSW.
Wow Sharon, you're powering along there! I didn't know there were so many good Aussie writers. What would you say was your favourite book (or books) so far and which author has been your favourite discovery this year?

That's a difficult one, Carolyn. Just like you I didn't know there was so many good ones. Here are some of my favourite books :
Safe Harbour by Helene Young
Poppy's Dilemma by Karly Lane
Fatal Liaison by Vicki Tyley
The Grass Castle by Karen Viggers
And theses are the authors as I can't choose just one ;)
Karen Viggers
Katherine Howell
Loretta Hill
Rachael Johns
Vicki Tyley
Honey Brown
In no particular order and of course there are many more :)

Thanks for that Sharon - there are so many new Aussie books listed by the readers here that it's hard to know where to start if you want to try someone new. I haven't read any of the books you've listed but have certainly seen lots of readers mention them so will have to remedy that soon.
I have enjoyed books by Vicki Tyley, Katherine Howell and Honey Brown but haven't read anything by the other authors yet.
