I also loved it. Death as the narrator was very interesting, especially for a Holocaust book, but it was done very well. I know what you mean about the hype though, that is so disappointing! I am planning on reading more by Markus Zusak in the near future! :-)

Hi Melody! I really liked it. I love the off beat characters that Fannie Flagg comes up with. I really enjoyed the story line and how she would go back and forth between this time period and the World War II era. Have you read any of her other books? I believe I have read all of them. "Welcome to the World Baby Girl" was probably my favorite because I never even saw the plot twist coming on that one!


I have a hard time reading my own books too! I have tons but I seem to devote more effort to library books or ones I borrow from Friends.
