It a sad yet beautiful story and was my second Sara Zarr books which I gave both of them 4 stars. Now I'm curious of her other books :)

He didn't really have any dialogue in the story or I wasn't attached to him because of his lack of participation, but still, I think he's better than Kent. It's probably because all we hear about Christopher from Mandy is positive, because she believes it's love, but I'd like to believe he'd be a better dad to Lola. I was so happy Mandy is a MacSweeney now. Thw book ended us not knowing if they do see Christopher and what he'll say but I'm doing it all in my head :) (hide spoiler)]

I'll definitely check out Zarr's other books. I might read Story of a Girl since it's a quickie— 192 pages!
