And some classics as well.

Did you get The Mind Readers (Mind Readers, #1) by Lori Brighton 44 (44 #1) by Jools Sinclair Dying To Forget (The Station, #1) by Trish Marie Dawson The Ultimate Sacrifice (The Gifted Teens, #1) by Talia Jager ? I really liked them, and they're usually free. :)

message 210: by Tati (new)

Tati Abbie, of those you posted, only Dying to Forget was free. I'll be going back for it, then.

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments @Tatiana Awesome haul! Gotta love freebies. Just wanted to say that Tayla and I are going to be buddy reading Scarlet Dagger and Vampire University if you want to join us. :))

@Abbie Thanks. I just go 44 and Dying to Forget. :))

message 213: by Tati (new)

Tati Rachel, when are you reading them?

message 214: by Alley (new)

Alley Kat (alleykat666) | 743 comments I want desperately to read 200 books this year. 2 years now, I've set that as my original goal and changed it later on.

So I guess I have quite a list of books I HAVE to read by the end of the year.

message 215: by rachel, x (new)

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments @Tatiana Vampire University on the 5th of March and Scarlet Dagger on the 3rd of April.

message 216: by Tayla (new)

Tayla Potayta (taylapotayta) | 3057 comments @alley yeah I hope to hit 100 this year!

message 217: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 2302 comments My "reading resolution" is to finish every buddy read I start!

Alley Kat (alleykat666) | 743 comments Vicki wrote: "My "reading resolution" is to finish every buddy read I start!"

I really need to do that. Last year I set up several and never got to them.

message 221: by rachel, x (new)

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments @Tatiana. Yayy! :))

message 222: by María (new)

María | 2037 comments I don't have a list. Maybe my resolution must be read more clasic books being a literature teacher as I am but I rather read YA Books o romantics stories. I can't help it! ;)

message 223: by [deleted user] (new)

I was checking out edelweiss and I was wondering do you have to pay for the books? How does it work?

message 224: by Tati (new)

Tati Lindsey, you have to click on the 'Review Copies" tab. There, you can request ARCs (and no, you don't have to pay for them).

message 225: by [deleted user] (new)

Tatiana wrote: "Lindsey, you have to click on the 'Review Copies" tab. There, you can request ARCs (and no, you don't have to pay for them)."

Thanks!

message 226: by rachel, x (new)

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments Hey guys. One of my resolutions was to finish the A-Z Challenge but I had to DNF my "Y" book because it was so terrible. Does anyone have some good replacements?? I have You Had Me At Halo and You Against Me so far. Oh, and even better does someone know a Amazon freebie that starts with a "Y"?? :)

message 227: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90920 comments Mod
I sent you a message of a couple of books that i found free ☺

message 228: by rachel, x (new)

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments @Sarah Thanks. Got the message. Was a big help! Next time I go to the library. I will also scour the shelves for a "y" book. I even easily found books with "x" and "z" (The Shadowhunter's Codex, Seizure) but not "y"!

message 229: by Mei (new)

Mei (meijey) | 3810 comments How about, You Had Me at Hello by Mhairi McFarlane? Haven't read that, yet, though, so Idk if it's good.

message 230: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90920 comments Mod
That one is supposed to be good ☺ I may have problems with X and Z this year.

message 231: by rachel, x (new)

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments @Mei That's sounds pretty good actually and it has a character called Rachel. Thanks Mei! I'll add it to the list. Gotta go find one of these at my library now. :)

message 232: by rachel, x (new)

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments @Sarah Its does sounds pretty good. Does your have to start with those letters or just contain them?? :)

message 233: by rachel, x (new)

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments Hey girls problem solved, I am going to be reading You Don't Have to Say You Love Me. Thanks Sarah. And thanks for the suggestion Mei. I will probably read that book some other time. :)

message 234: by Sarah Elizabeth (new)

Sarah Elizabeth (bookworm_sarah) | 90920 comments Mod
I usually do starting with. Last year I read Xavier Walton's First Kiss by Phil Wohl and Zombies Don't Write Valentines A FREE YA Living Dead Short Story by Rusty Fischer . Oooh! actually I just remembered that I got XVI (XVI, #1) by Julia Karr so I could use that for X!

message 235: by Mei (new)

Mei (meijey) | 3810 comments Greta recommended that, I completely forgot about it! It was a long book so I don't use it, haha.

message 236: by rachel, x (new)

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments @Sarah Ahaha Xavier Walton's First Kiss looks hilarious. And XVI actually looks good! :)

message 237: by Mei (new)

Mei (meijey) | 3810 comments In the alphabet challenge I joined, it's okay if X or Z doesn't start with it, as long as it contains the letter within the title, so I'm going to use 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for my 'X'. Still thinking for Z, though. I don't fancy World War Z and I know some people who DNF it.

message 238: by rachel, x (last edited Jan 13, 2014 04:50AM) (new)

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments @Sarah Looking up free "z" ebooks. Only found this so far: MJ Ware Box Set - Super Zombie Juice Mega Bomb, Zack and Zoey's Alien Apocalypse, & Monster Mashup by MJ Ware

I think I might read Z for Zachariah by Robert C. O'Brien , I haven't read it for years and I only vaguely remember it.

message 240: by rachel, x (last edited Jan 13, 2014 04:53AM) (new)

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments @Mei Ahaha, I don't mind long books so I think I am set.

Same, I am using them in the word. That's clever thinking of Harry Potter. I was thinking of Lola and the Boy NeXT Door or The Adoration of Jenna Fox or Jenny Pox (that a free ebook, Sarah. If you don't mind it in the middle of the word.)

message 241: by rachel, x (new)

rachel, x (typedtruths) | 8401 comments Okay. I am signing off now. Thanks for all your help. Hope you can think of a "z" book Sarah. I'll sleep on it and think of some ideas for you. :)

message 243: by Tris (new)

Mei (meijey) | 3810 comments Thanks Abbie. It's still month 1 of the year, so I do hope I pick up my books soon...
