Chantelle Feasel | 9 comments Just finished up the novel at 79,000 words... I'd love if you took a look, I can send you the full novel as a PDF or Word document!

Here's the hook/synopsis:

There’s something in the air… and it’s not oxygen.

There is no sun. The environment is toxic. Every survivor is an empty soul willing to kill for a breath of oxygen. There are no morals, there are no laws, there are no last names.

Thane and Nitra are among the remaining humans on Earth, both leading “acquisitioners” in the O2 thief ring known as the Dorobo. Time’s running out on the oxygen supply, but it’s not just theirs they’re worried about. The all-but brother and sister pair are sent out to locate additional resources; running on low both must resist temptation while defending their lives against the desperation building in the dwindling population. In the chaos of a deal turned sour, Nitra and Thane are separated. One collaborates with deadly foes while the other treks alone to unravel the mystery of humanity’s salvation.

Melek (chaissar) I'm interested in beta reading that, as a big fan of dystopian. :)
I'm not sure it'll be read within this week, so if time is not a problem, I'm in. :) elessarelanoure@hotmail.com is the address and .pdf would be great. :)
Good luck! :)

Melissa | 17 comments I can give it a read, but I am a science teacher so I need to know how critical I am allowed to be, first.

Chantelle Feasel | 9 comments Thank you both! Julie I can email the manuscript to you in just a few minutes :) look out for a message from feasel_cmk@hotmail.com! And Melissa I am up for any and all critiques... whatever bothers you, sticks out or is intriguing I'd love to hear it, whether it's sentence-level or plot details. I'm definitely okay with any and all critiques (though I appreciate when some positive reinforcement is intermixed haha); I've graduated college and been through my share of peer and teacher edits for essays and the like. Melissa, feel free to email at the aforementioned email address or message me through goodreads and I'll shoot you the manuscript :)

Thanks again!

Chantelle Feasel | 9 comments Thank you Amanda, I would love if you could read it! The more, the merrier! I'll send along a word copy and PDF in just a few minutes. :) Thank you so much!

Also, Melissa and Julie, I hope the word doc is working out for you, but just in case it's not I'm going to send you a more e-reader friendly version (pdf) in just a few minutes. Sorry I didn't think to send that sooner!

Happy Monday all!
