Page 178 Holy!!! I got the chills reading this page in stinking hot weather!! The author does lighthearted and serious and frightening atmospheres equally well ! (view spoiler)[So I'm guessing that the girl who appears bright and on fire was like Evie but some faerie did that process on her (like the one Reth didn't complete on Evie) and she became able to cause death to paranormals with one touch? She's the one from the banshee's prophecy poem! (hide spoiler)]

I had a very positive attitude towards the book from there on out. It was first time I enjoyed a first page this much.
