Virginia smiled and removed her arm from Lee's. She gently took her hand. "So how the end of our walk is not far now, right?" she asked to change the subject. "I want to go grab some ice cream."

Virginia smiled when she noticed Lee look down at their hands. "Do you want to skip the rest of the way too?" she teased.
"I can do that," laughed Virginia. She glanced down at her cowgirl getup. "But I look more like I could pass for the scarecrow than Dorothy."
Virginia grinned and began skipping, letting their hands sway back and forth.
"We're off to see the Wizard,
The wonderful Wizard of Oz.
We hear he is a wiz of a wiz
If ever a wiz there was.
If ever, oh ever, a wiz there was,
The Wizard of Oz is one because,
Because, because, because, because, because-
Because of the wonderful things he does.
We're off to see the Wizard,
The wonderful Wizard of Oz."

The chestnut mare trotted behind them as they skipped. Virginia half shouted and half sung the lyrics, making the pitches out of tune at least half the time. Her braided, red hair bounced up and down, threatening to escape their barrettes.
"Don't cover it up!" said Virginia, when she noticed Lee try to subdue her own laughter. "You look like you don't laugh enough."

((I really like these two together, Virginia really brings out the more easy going and fun side of Lee out.))
"Doesn't camp or your cabin count as home? You have been here for-" She cut herself off. "How many years have you been at camp again? I forget. This is home."

Virginia nodded. Truthfully, she and her brother had been at camp for fourteen years, but they only started staying at camp during the school year about seven years ago. "Well, you can always laugh here too," she said.

"I am sure Ares kids laugh," said Virginia. "You know Parker Cruz from your cabin, right? He and my brother are friends, so I know for a fact that he does laugh. No one can be really be friends with my brother and not laugh."
"Yeah, I am told that Cruz isn't particularly popular in the Ares cabin," Virginia said. "I heard that it has something to do with his grandpa being Heracles."

"Oh, yeah," Virginia said. "So are we still going to drop off my mare and grab some ice cream after this?"
A grin lit up her face, making the dimple in her cheek pop out. "Great," she said. "Do you want to walk or ride back?"

"Okay," said Virginia. "I just wanted that ice cream. Kind of warm out here." She paused. "Do you want to ride?"
Virginia mounted her chestnut mare and then held out her hand to help Lee. "Just put one hand on the horse and give me the other. Put your foot in the stirrup and lift yourself up."

Virginia's eyebrows rose over her widened eyes. "Lee.... Could you move your hand?" she asked, glancing down at her hand which was touching her breast over her shirt.
A light blush colored her freckled cheeks pink. Virginia cracked her a smile. "It's okay," she said. Her blue eyes brightened. "You can grab my breasts any time you like," she teased, trying to hold back her laugh.
Virginia's smile widened into a grin when she observed the deeper blush in her cheeks. She gently patted her arm before taking up the reins. "Safely mounted on my noble steed, princess?" she asked, glancing at Lee.

"Yeah, except I have the horse and I don't make for a very good princess," Virginia pointed out. "And you would marry me only for money and social status? Well, how noble of you."
