"With August," said Wescott.

Wescott frowned at Virginia."You can stop now," he said. "I don't need to hear this every time you see me spending my time with someone that isn't you."

"No, you wake up, Virginia!" Said Wescott, losing his temper. "You can't be a child forever and expect me to always satisfy your longing for companionship!"

Virginia rolled her eyes.

"You really care about her, don't you?" Virginia said. The usual mischievous twinkle in her eye was gone as she watched Wescott thoughtfully.
"Yes," he said softly.

"Yes, of course," said Wescott. "But, Ginger, she is amazing. If you knew her better you would like her. She may not be as mischievous you or me all the time, but she is smart, funny, and beautiful."
"And she doesn't like me," said Virginia.
"She does," said Wescott with a smile. "Just get to know her first and we can all have fun."
She sighed. "Okay then," said Virginia.

Emery looked up at Ellie, a little surprised by her words. "Laurel?" he asked, a little bewildered. "What do you want to know about her?" Quite honestly, he did not actually want to bring his girlfriend from home onto the walk with them.

Virginia appeared, running towards them with an armful of weapons. She was laughing when she literally ran into August and Wescott.
