SOLVED. A little girl and her video Camera [s]

Okay so I have been trying to remember this book for years. and now I really want to find it! So the book starts off from the perspective of a little girl. She just got a brand new video camera for her birthday i think. and she walks around recording things and it's just her thoughts and I Loved it cause it was the way i think (that says a lot for my maturity = )). Than it switches to her brother. and the family I think takes in a homeless gal and she comes and saves the brother from commiting suicide, I believe they have sex later. And thn it switches to her father whom i think is debating on if to cheat on his wife.
Sounds like a terrible book but all I really want to read is the begining with the little girl. Please send me an email if you know what it is. I had a hunch that the boo kwas called 'Always' but I haven't been able to find it under that name. let me know!
