Two identical books

My newest book wasn't on Goodreads a few weeks ago, so I manually added it. But now it's on this website so there are two of them. I don't know how to delete my entry and claim the other book as one that I wrote. It's called Avalon by Valerie Howard. Please help, I'm new at this!

Merged the two books, one had ended up in the wrong author's profile. I don't think either of them should be deleted because one is paperback and the other is kindle edition.

Next time you should post in the combine requests thread with the link to both books, this is the Library Manual forum.

Ok thanks, the help page sent me here...I will try to merge them if I can figure that out.

To clarify, the books have already been combined, NOT merged. (combine versus merge) They don't need anything further done to them, except maybe adding a cover for the paperback edition.

And you didn't post your thread in the wrong group. The Librarians Group is exactly the right group to ask for help with book records. It was in the wrong folder (the one for additions to the Librarian Manual), but I moved it to Book Issues, where it belongs. (Which takes about 5 seconds, so no worries.)
