Candi's eyes snapped open as she was flung onto the ground by the rumbling and creaking of the metal floor. She felt herself rising. She banged on the wall, "Help, someone?!" She couldn't remember where she was yesterday, or even who her family was, for all she knew she didn't have one. She stopped banging on the walls after a bit, realizing that no one would come. She sat in the corner, wide eyed and pulled her legs in, waiting for it to stop.

Above Candi would be a bright light, almost like a hatch. Peaking out of the source would be a teenage girl. Green eyes, short red hair, it would have terrified anyone.
"Need some help?" the girl asked, looking at Candi from above. "I mean, seriously, we don't have all day."

Candi blinked up at the light. Hearing the girl's voice she nodded, "That'd be appreciated." She said with a small uncertain laugh.

Candi grabbed the girl's hand and kicked her foot against the wall for leverage ((sorry I was at dinner))
The Box started moving again, with yet another Greenie inside. The little boy screamed at the top of his lungs. "Help! Help me! Is anyone out there?! Please answer me!" The gears stopped with a loud CLANK and the top of The Box opened. Revealing the Glade.
Alex sighed, forcing his way through the crowd to the elevator. Another kid condemned to life in the Glade. Alex wasn't sure it was anything to celebrate. Still, as one of the Leaders, it was his job to make sure that this kid was okay.
"Hey Greenie," Alex called, jumping lightly into the box and landing in front of the little kid, one arm outstretched for the little kid to take. It was a little kid - couldn't have been over the age of thirteen. Probably wasn't even a teenager yet. Alex's heart sank slightly. "It's okay now. You're...safe."

"W-Who are you!? Who am I!? STAY BACK!" The boy yelled as he thought the Gladers were dangerous. He tried hefting a barrel from the Box but couldn't lift it off the ground.
"Hey," Alex grabbed him gently by the forearms, firm enough to hold him firmly, but not so strong that the kid would feel threatened. "I'm not gonna hurt you, kid. I'm Alex. Calm down, it'll be okay. Don't worry, you're not alone. This has happened to everyone. We all panicked at first. But it'll be okay, I promise." Alex swallowed. As okay as it was going to get in the Glade... "Just let me help you. You remember your name?"
Alex knew Wendy, his fellow leader, would have dealt with the situation more harshly, with some theory about 'instilling discipline from the start' or some of that jazz. But Alex couldn't help but feel sorry for the kid - he couldn't help it.

"Uh.... Um...." The kid stammered as he was scared of the big boy grabbing him, he scared easy. "A-A-A-Archie, sir. Please let me go." Some tears ran down his face. Some of the other unknown boys in the Glade laughed for a bit because of how weak Archie was.
Alex released him, gently. "Nice to meet you, Arch-ie," Alex greeted, testing out the name on his tongue. Although no two Gladers had the same name, there was something bitterly familiar about it, about the way it felt to say it. Alex swallowed to thought. "You remember anything else, kid? It's okay, no one does."
Alex turned away sharply at the sound of laughter, his grey eyes glinting in the sun. "Think this is funny?" he snapped at the onlookers. There was a hushed silence as the Gladers exchanged uneasy looks. Alex was never one to raise his voice. "How would you have liked it if I laughed at you when you arrived. I can assure you that none of you were any more heroic than Archie here." Alex smiled slightly, his tone relaxing. "Come on guys. A little respect?"
A few people muttered to themselves, but generally, the Gladers quieted down. Alex wasn't a Leader for nothing. He was respected and generally liked, and the Gladers were willing to take his words into consideration.
Alex glanced back down at the kid - Archie. "You'll be okay," he echoed, holding out his hand again. "Now, let's get out of this box."

Archie took Alex's hand and leaped out of the Box. The first chance he got, he ran to the safest place he thought there was. The Homestead. It was so far away though. He reached the Homestead in about 2 minutes. Fastest anyone went to the Homestead as a first for safety. He slammed the door and barricaded it. (To the Homestead?)
((Nope, the notif was fine but I was being dragged along for a shopping trip -__- Yeah, homestead sounds good.))

Edit: ((Gosh, what a great friend I am XP))
