That was such a pleasant story. I didn't quite know what to expect, all the way until the end. I especially love how each of your characters had a personality that was distinctly their own. That's pretty hard to do.
I took an immediate liking to Aileen and gradually warmed up to Joel. I disliked Justine. You did a great job of manipulating your reader's emotions towards your characters. I curious to hear more of this mysterious Aileen.
I can't stop smiling! That is such a kind thing to say :) Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It's great to get feedback from an awesome author like you, and it means a lot that you talk about the characters like they're real. You just got like fifty jillion awesome points :D

A combination of a hug and a cuddle. Man, that's strange. ;D
And Garrison, thank you! That's really sweet. You're awesome. :)

Thank you so much for the input! And I haven't really thought about writing more chapters for this story. But I will definitely consider it now.
I had thought about whether or not Kyle would be sincere or just using her, but I decided that it would be unnecessary for a short story. But this loose end could come in handy for a future installment...
GEG:
When my friend and I were freshmen, we were talking about a guy she liked over text and he just happened to look over my shoulder and our messages. (Yes, he was really nosy. But she didn't realize it at the time she liked him.) He just ended up ignoring her for a while.
So I guess this was really just me rewriting it in the way I wish it would have ended.
