Lina Goldberg | 2 comments I've got two questions. First, there are two listings for my book on Goodreads, with two separate set of reviews. I think this is because the Kindle and print editions may be listed individually, even though the content is exactly the same.

The second problem is that one of them has an old version of the cover, but I am not allowed to update it because I do not have librarian status. The correct version of the cover is the yellow one.

Can any Goodreads staff help me fix these issues? It would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

rivka I have combined the different editions (your book actually has 3).

As far as changing covers, Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have. Instead, we add an alternate-cover edition. See http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1... and http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/85....

As the author, you will have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile. Here's how: http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/31...

If you need any help setting up an alternate-cover edition, a post in the Librarians Group is the best way to go.

Lina Goldberg | 2 comments Great, thank you. I think I lost a few ratings somehow in this process. Any chance of getting them back?

rivka No ratings are lost when editions are combined. However, the cache may take a day or two to update so they all show up.
