Eva (ladycastlebuck) | 120 comments 88 of 45 - sounds silly but my kindle made me read more than planned in the beginning.

reading: A Sinful Deception (Breconridge Brothers, #2) by Isabella Bradford

I now what you mean. It helps me too. But some of the books I'm getting I can't download to the my Kindle but too my Kindle app.

With that being said. I'm 127/250. so far behind. I hope I can make it without changing my goal.

46/50 Haunted New Orleans: History & Hauntings of the Crescent City Haunted New Orleans History & Hauntings of the Crescent City by Troy Taylor - I thought it was just okay. For a book about ghosts it was a little dry.

Fabiola Chenet (fabiola_chenet) | 178 comments 91/100: Le marquis aux escargots by Marie Laurent
92/100: Témoin sous protection by Emilie Milon
Both French-speaking romance authors: the books were ok

message 359: by Riley (new)

Riley (ramore) I'm now at 120 for the year. Added another to my favorites shelf last week. The Rains of Imarcia by Maria Coke. Amazing story about a world where the rains can hurt or even kill you. Loved it! Special mention to Disobedience by Alvania Scarborough. Another other-world saga but it has a familiar American West feel to it. Really good!

50/50 -- Menage After Midnight by MAdelynne Ellis!
DONE!!!

message 368: by Fabiola (new)

Fabiola Chenet (fabiola_chenet) | 178 comments That's great Jess :)

I read a few books recently but didn't have time to write them down
93/100: Pulling me close by Renee Kelly: I must say, I was SO disappointed by this book that I gave it one star. First it's a serial. I don't read serials. I hate them. Two: there's a cliffhanger. I hate cliffhangers. Three: the book doesn't have a HEA. The author never mentioned those in the plot. I wish she will do it in the future but as I won't never read one of her books again, that's not my problem.
94/100: Blood assassin by Alexandra Ivy - Very good - Official review
95/100: Midnight vengeance by Lisa Marie Rice - Did I tell you that my name is in the book? Fabiola Chenet is a pseudonym used by the heroine :)
96/100: It exec's baby by Tina Gayle: Very good - Official review
97/100: The kidnapped Christmas bride by Jane Porter - Great - Official review

message 376: by Lynde Shaw (new)

Lynde Shaw | 25 comments I'm not going to make my goal, but I'm darn close. I didn't join this thread until August and didn't start really tracking my books until then. I made a goal of 100 books from August 1- Dec 31. I reached that goal awhile ago so I bumped my goal to 200. Right now, I'm at 134/200 since August 1. I might reach 150 by Dec 31.

Rara Loves to Read (raralovestoread) | 11 comments I read 351 books last year on a goal of 300, so I set 350 as this year's goal. I am already 8 books ahead of schedule so things are looking good to meet that goal.

Do you read every day? Is this part of your job? How do you make the time? Are you a speed reader? Can you tell I'm really blow away by the sheer number that you read?

Yes I read everyday! I carry a book with me at all times or should I say on ereader now! I work in retail so no, not part of the job. I don't watch much television so it's easy to read and while I am not a "speed" reader, I do read fairly fast. It's my escape/travel/have fun way of seeing the world or otherworlds :)

I seem to be doing a book a day right now as well as 3 or 4 on the weekend. I always have my Kindle with me so I'm reading while waiting in the school pick up lane or even while in the bathroom. LOL
