And now I need a break because I read too much. :) So movies and video games tonight and this week end.

15/50 The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
- Wow, I loved this book so much!! Must read the other two.

8/41 -The Abomination Assignment by Lee Holz which was an exploration of government sanctioned assassination which I found very interesting
I also Finished:

9/41 -The King in Yellow by Robert W Chambers I read this because I heard that HBO's True Detective used it as a source, which is true, but there was more than this book in the show. The first 5 short stories in The King in Yellow are pretty good and I can see how HP Lovecraft used them as a basis for his works. But the last five short stories are not that great.
I'm currently reading:

10/41 - The best of Joe R Lansdale which was recommended to my in my For The Love of Horror group and started with a Godzilla story that just great and is continuing with Bubba Ho-Tep, which for the un-initiated was made into a movie with the great Bruce Campbell, which I enjoyed. So i'm looking forward to the rest of the book.
Next up:

11/41 - The Complete Works of HP Lovecraft it's been awhile since I've read HP Lovecraft and look forward to getting back into his stories as I start write my own set of horror shorts for my next book. Time to get inspired.
16/50 The Devil to Pay by Catherine Gayle - liked it. It was a novella, so it all develops really quickly, but it was sweet.

22/104 Revenge of the Mad Scientist by Lara Nance. Just ok.

23/104 Mariana by Susanna Kearsley. Amazing! Recommended to anyone!

24/104 Through the Smoke by Brenda Novak. Very good gothic romance/mystery.

25/104 Aftermath by Ann Aguirre. Sci-fi adventure as only Ms. Aguirre can relate. #5 in series - very good!

17/50 -- Why Is It Always About You by Sandy Hotchkiss -- read for research
18/50 -- These Is My Words by Nancy Turner
19/50 -- Just One Night by Lexi Ryan
20/50 -- The All Seeing Eye by Eliza Lloyd
21/50 -- A Lady Undone by Simone Holloway
I'm smoking along! I'm part way through a couple of other books after my flights/layovers, too.

That's awesome Ang! Definitely do an accounting if you want, I think it's fun to see what people are reading. And in June, I might do a reset post if people want to adjust their goal (I think you can do that in the overall Goodreads challenge too).

have raised my goal higher, I am 7 books ahead.
I just finished Sugar Jamison' s Dangerous Curves Ahead. A 3.5 star book

I am certain I will exceed the 50 books.
I will try to update more often then I have.
The list of books that I have read are below:
1- Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens
2- One Week Girlfriend by Monica Murphy
3- Somebody's Angel - Rescue Me, #5 by Kallypso Masters (This is an excellent series if you like to read romance with some BDSM, like me then I highly recommend this series).
4- Scent of a Mate (Sassy Mates #1) by Milly Taiden
5- A Hero's Pride (Wounded Soldiers #1) by April Angel
* Milly Taiden also writes as April Angel
6- A Mate's Bite (Sassy Mates #2) by Milly Taiden
7- Parlor Tricks (Tricks #1)by N. Kuhn (Novelette)
8- Going Under by S. Walden
9- San Diego or Bust by Vicki Batman (I thought this was a book, it turned out to be 36 pages)
10- Bayou Noel (Bayou Heat #8.5) by Alexandra Ivy & Laura Wright
11- Club Shadowlands (Masters of the Shadowlands #1) by Cherise Sinclair
12- Dark Citadel (Masters of the Shadowlands #2) by Cherise Sinclair
13- Breaking Free (Masters of the Shadowlands #3) by Cherise Sinclair
14- Lean on Me (Masters of the Shadowlands #4) by Cherise Sinclair

18- Their Second Chance by April Angel, aka Milly Taiden
19- The Black Dagger Brotherhood: An Insider's Guide (Black Dagger Brotherhood Compendium) by J.R. Ward ( I read books 1-12 last year. Book 13 will release April 1st and my palms are just itching to read it.)

22- Grounded (Up in the Air, #3) by R.K. Lilley
23- Lana by R.K. Lilley
24- Sinners at the Altar (Sinners on Tour #6) by Olivia Cunning
I am currently reading Mercenary Abduction (Alien Abduction #4) by Eve Langlais

Thanks Jess :)
26/50: Rhapsody in heaven by Kanan Minami (mangas, volume 1 to 3. As I read a manga very quickly, I count the entire series as one book read)
23/50 Entwined by Collette Gale
- I liked this a lot. I just didn't realize it was a multi-part thing. Still, will now immediately add the other parts. SEXY.

26 & 27 /102 Reluctant & Redeemed by Kerrigan Bryne. Technically novellas, but they read like full novels, so I'm counting them!

28/102 Troubled Bones by Jeri Westerson - Medieval Murder Mystery

29/102 Silver Mirrors by A. A. Aguirre - Awesome!

30/102 The Clockwork Work by Lynn Viehl - Also wonderful!

Very funny. Just a pity that the end draged on too much in the end. It's a must read just for the hilarious scenes and replies.

32/102 - The Witch's Daughter by Paula Brackston - started out very dark and I almost did not finish, but I'm glad I did. It was well worth persevering!

33/102 - Steam & Sorcery by Cindy Spencer Pape - A paranormal/steampunk adventure that will put a smile on your face!

#16-Objection

#28-Mitigation

#26 -

#31 -

And I have decided to try and read 75 books instead of 50. I am doing the 2014 Reading Challenge on Goodreads for 75 books too! So I might as well keep the challenges equal.

35/104 - Dark Witch by Nora Roberts - Audiobook rendition by Katherine Kellgren was very good!

36/104 - Master of Crows by Grace Draven - Amazing. This went on my Favorites shelf!

27/50 Enamored by Colette Gale. And now I've glommed everything in the series so far. Enamored: The Submissive Mistress (Special Double-Length Episode)
