Blind Dates

This isn't really a challenge but more of a game. Basically, you just sign up in this thread, then once a month, I will be randomly pairing up everyone who signs up (and possibly a group of 3 if there is an odd number).

Then, each person recommends their favorite book (or just a book they really liked) to the other person and they read it. Each person then posts a link to their review of the book on this thread and they can be matched up again!

You can reread a book for this challenge, but if you don't want to, let your partner know. This is the only condition in which you can change the book you are reading, no changing just because you don't want to read that book / genre / etc.

Alright, here are the matchups! There is one group of three, so I'll explain how that will work at the bottom. Please comment the book you want your partner to read:

Ashley (me ;D ) and Crystal
Alyssa and Basma
Jennifer, Gabby, and Katherine
(so Jennifer will give Gabby a book, Gabby will give Katherine a book, and Katherine will give Jennifer a book).

Once you have read the book your partner recommends, post a link to your review of it in this thread and I will match you up with someone else who has finished their book.

Just finished my book- A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. Forgive me I don't know how to post a link of my review. But here it is.

I didn't know what to expect from this book. Historical novel with a supernatural twist? Could be great or could fall short. This book rose above any concerns I had. The character, Gemma, wants nothing more than to disappear into the crowd and instead is spotlighted by accident or cruel classmates. To make it worst she is plagued by visions she doesn't want and can't understand.
Without giving to much away as she's beginning to find her place her whole new world is thrown off it's axis. Roads are taken. Choices are made. Mistakes are desperate and impossible to fix.
I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone to enjoys history or paranormal books. There are two more books in the series and I plan to read them both.

So I still haven't finished my book yet (as predicted, school has slowed my reading down quite a bit), but I'm getting close and will post a review as soon as I'm done. And I'd like to try to keep doing blind dates next month too!
