The poll is in and the January BOTM is Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein.

I'll post up some discussion questions in 2 weeks or so. I'm excited to read this book; it sounds really interesting!

Jennifer Oh good. I haven't read this one. I'll pick it up from the library. The synopsis sounds intriguing. Can't wait to dive into a brand new book.

Also, I know that there was the suggestion to do artistic representations of the books we read a few weeks ago, so if anyone come across a scene that they'd like to do a piece of art/poem/ or short film about, they are free to post their work here. Everyone who submits something can get an extra vote for the February BOTM! :)

I'm excited to see your representations. :D

So, I've started reading and I love the story so far! Anyone have any first impressions?

Katherine (katheranne) | 20 comments I finished the book a few days ago. I feel like people are always talking in reviews about finishing a book and then going back immediately to read it again, and I never understood that...until now, that is, because that is exactly what I did! Not cover to cover, but I definitely skimmed the heck out of it and only stopped because I had to leave the book at home when I went back to school. But OMG, it was SO GOOD. It made me realize that I hadn't read an amazing book in wayyy too long!

I totally get that. I never was the kind of person to reread a book right after finishing it, but this book definitely encouraged me to skim back through it to reread my favorite parts.
