"When Farrah Fawcett arrived at heaven, God granted her one wish. She wished for all the children to be safe. So God killed Michael Jackson."
Ba-da-boom.
Not trying to be enlightening... just giving my opinion, same as everyone else.

I ♥ the man in drag. :) I hope Michael Jackson's demons can rest now. Bless his heart.
I agreed with a friend's rant about the media frenzy over this. She basically said she's "disgusted at this media Michael Jackson frenzy. It's easier to canonize a dead man than to grant a live one the benefit of the doubt, isn't it?"

I'm old.
He turned into quite a wackadoodle, but in the 80's he was my idol! I found my love of dance through Michael and I thank him for that.

Am I the only person who's a bit put off by how quickly a revisionist history of Michael Jackson's already been written? I will heartily grant the man's unique gift to music, but I find it very hard to separate his genius from the fact that he was one seriously fucked-up individual who incredulously couldn't seem to comprehend just how inappropriate his behaviour towards other children quite possibly could be. I mean, a 40-year-old man sharing a bed with a child who isn't his own child?
I'm reading a lot of justifications for his behaviour in his personal life, and, frankly, I'm pretty bothered by it. For example, I love Miles Davis; truly, the man was a gifted musical genius who changed the landscape of American music in his time, but, frankly, the man in his personal life was an abusive wife-beater, a junky, a terrible, often neglectful father who left precious little to his children, and generally acted like a cunt to his peers. Again, I love his music to this day, but I can't separate the talent from the person. And no one should do that to anyone.

oh good lord."
I knew someone who donated her eggs waaaay back in the day. She got a HUGE sum of money for them. But she was a real PIA while she was taking the hormones required for it.
I looked into that once to pay off school loan debt. But it was about a 6 month commitment of tons of pills to take and lots of people looking at my kooter, not just the one "harvesting" sesh I had been imagining.
