I think it's more about his growth as a character.....from being totally selfish to putting someone else first....he's very sweet....

I did enjoy the both AOP I thought it was a painful journey but you knew that....AOP 3 is about Luke and Emmy again.....

Characters piss me off a lot (like deuce) but I like the variety I guess.....plus I'm always thinking people can change sooo that's probably why I torture myself with those books.......plus I'm a sociologist too soo that shit intrigues me......lol
Well.. I have a degree in French lit and a minor in art history. Sooo... not so interesting to me. My job does not reflect my education. When I retire I am publishing a tell all bk(names excluded). At this point I am a unlicensed psychiatrist.

Ok. I have read about 2/3rds of this bk. I have to say I am disappointed. I wish there was more of an actual story.
Ok I know you ladies said you did not like but that hospital scene was just beautiful I thought. It showed his growth for her, his vulnerabilities and the way he realized he couldn't control everything and how scared he was. For the first time in his life he didn't have control over everything and that's because he's in love for the first time. I just thought it was beautifully written and I could feel Nicks pain and how scared he was.

It's certainly different than the other two but I guess I expected that since it was the last so I knew no more cliff hangovers and the angst would be different. For me trilogies are fun to see the growth of the characters , the couples over the course of the books. The journey they take me on is just usually so much fun and satisfying, having said that I haven't loved them all but this one I am enjoying cause Dominic's journey of self discovery and his aha moments are enjoyable to read.......IMO anyhow....
I have to say that I too am enjoying the character development. It is very different so I'm reserving judgment at the moment.
