I would really love some help in adding social media buttons to my author profile page in order to link to my social media pages.
I have absolutely no idea how to do this kind of stuff.

This is not a Librarians Group issue, but one for the Feedback Group or the Author Feedback Group. Librarians can help with issues pertaining to specific book records or most related issues, but have no control over general site functionality or author issues outside of fixing book or author listings on Goodreads itself.
