"I told you" she said with a smile as they walked into her room "its beautiful. Not scary at all"
She smiled, "Yeah, so your sister's birthday is when ?" she asked her.
"Next saturday. Your invited and you can sleep over if you want again" she said excitedly "it should be fun and it will only be small"
She smiles, "I would love too but are you sure about sleepover ?? Your guy seems kinda alone without you." she teased her, poking her side.
She rolls her eyes "he's been waiting for over a century for me to come back i'm sure he can stand a night" she said with a cheeky smile.
Don't coughed a little, "A century ? What do you mean ?" she asked, not understanding what she means.
"Oh sorry i forgot to tell you about that part" she said, smiling a little at her reaction "apparently i look just like the girl he would have married if you know... Her name was Elizabeth and he reckons i'm her reincarnation"
She shook her head in disbelief, eyes widening. "You gotta be kidding me. I mean you believes in reincarnation ?" she asked.
"Yeah i guess. But the thing was i wasn't mean't to see him but he kissed me and i did" she told her "don't you think that was meant to be?"
She pressed her lips in a thin line, "Hmmm a ghost can touch ? He kissed you and you saw him ? Well I needs time to process it all."
Cicily shrugged "well lets do something. Want to Watch a movie or do our nails?" She asked, just really wanting to get off the topic
She sensed that she wants to change the topic, which made her smile. "Doing nails sounds good, you're doing mine." she said with a bashful smile.
"Ok then" she said, walking over to the back of the room and starting to set up the nail polish and foot spa.
She sat down on the bed, and waited for her to set the things. "You never seems the type to do nails." she said in a teasing tone.
She laughed a little "my feet need just as much care as anything else" she filled the foot spa up with hot water and put it in front of Ivy "put your feet in here" she said.
She obliged happily and rest her feet in the hot tub. The warmth tickles her skin, and she let out a happy moan. "At last a little relief."
About half an hour later both girls had a new coat of nail polish on their feet and fingers. "See its so worth it?" Cicily said, wiggling her toes.
She broke in a laughing fit, "Yeah It's worth it, thank you, no one does that with me before." she said in an adoring tone.
"Why not?" She asked with a sad smile "its the best thing about sleep overs. That and hot chocolate. Which reminds me want to go make some?"
She gulps, looking with wide eyes, "Because I never had any honest friends before. And I actually haven't had any friends before meeting you." she confessed, playing with ring on her finger. "Yeah sure, I'll love some."
Cicily took her hand with a small smile "i'm glad you'll be my first proper friend too" she said, pulling her up off the bed and walking downstairs with her.
They both walked downstairs, wooden floor creaking a little. "I really loved the house." she complimented the house again.
"So does my dad. As soon as he saw it he bought it. Didn't even step in the front door" she told her with a smile as they walked into the kitchen. She got out the milk and chocolate and mixed them together in the microwave.
She waited as the mixer was in microwave. "Ohh well, anyone would have, because everyone knew it was........" she trailed off, not knowing how to say the "Haunted."
She shrugged and got the mugs out of the microwave "well they were all right weren't they but if they saw me and Bu they'd be jealous" she said, putting a few marshmallows in the cups and giving one to Ivy.
She smiles, "Jealous ? why ?? I'm not jealous..." she said in a teasing manner, "But honestly, your boyfriend used to scare away the people....ask him.."
She rolled her eyes at Ivy's teasing but looked down at her hot chocolate in disbelief when she mentioned him scaring the people away "oh i didn't know that" she said, wondering why he would do that.
She bit her lip nervously, noticing the look of disbelief in her eyes. "I'm sorry, I didn't meant no disrespect Cicily. He must have his reasons."
"No its ok. Its good to know" she said, almost distantly. Her mind was still wondering why he would do that. He was so gentle and friendly.
She bit her lip and gulped down her hot chocolate, "I'm tired, let's go to sleep."
Cicily snapped out of her daze and looked down at Ivy's empty mug in surprise "ah ok" she said, putting the empty mug in the dishwasher and tipping the rest of hers down the sink.
She swallowed in nervous gulp and started to head towards the room. She was upset and mentally beating herself for being so obnoxious towards Buford. He seems a nice person, and she had spilled out things.('skip to morning))
The next morning Cicily slept in. She had been up late, thinking about what Ivy had said about Buford. She didn't know what to make of it or whether or not to bring it up with Bu.
Ivy woke up. as the sunlight pour into the room, making the room shine brightly. She smiles at Cicily,who was fast asleep. "Wake up Cicily,It's almost 9 am."
She groaned a little and pulled the sheet up over her head "go away Lon" she muttered, it was the weekend why was she waking her up?
She laughs, "It's me Ivy, not London." she told her and collapsed on the bed.
She pulls the covers off her face and slowly opens her eyes "have you been up long?" She asked, patting the space beside her for Ivy to lay on instead of half crushing her leg.
She hit Cicily's leg and got up, laying by her side. "Ohh no, I actually woke up five minutes before, so I thought I should wake you up."
"Thanks for the consideration" she said sarcastically, turning to look at her "what did you want to do?"
She made a face, "Don't be so sarcastic....." she said, chewing on her lips. "I don't know, what you wants to do."
She thought for a moment "lets go out into the garden" she said with a smile "you recon the house is beautiful, wait till you see the orchid and the fountain"
Her eyes widen, "Oooh I never heard that there's a fountain, I will die if I won't see it." she said with a soft smile.
"Come on then get dressed first" she got up and ran to her closet, getting out a pair of jeans and a singlet and racing into the bathroom to get changed
She nodded and pulls her jeans and a white camisole T-shirt from the bag."
A few minuets later Cicily came out of the bathroom "ready?" She asked
While she was gone, Ivy changed her clothes in the room. "yeah I'm as ready as I can be."
"Lets go" she said, walking out of the room, downstairs and out the back door.
She nodded enthusiastically and followed her like a puppy. "You keeps on surprising me." she said softly.
She smiled "well we have a lot of years of friendship to catch up on yeah?" She said, walking toward the orchid.
Ivy smiles, appreciating her effort and walks downstairs with her. "This house is really amazing....and big."
