Countess are wonderful. Strangely, they were the first band ever that used the term "Orthodox Black Metal", but the music has much more to do with Bathory than with acts like Deathspell Omega. It's epic and even inspired by traditional heavy metal.

Yeah, I love what they do with trad and folk tunes, but this is my favorite.
Eric Bogle, who wrote this, also did "Green Fields of France", which the Dropkick Murphys covered quite well.
