what are you currently listening to?

Me too!! I have all of their albums :)"
I've seen them a couple of times on the tv show Later... with Jules Holland. Their songs stick in my mind every time I hear them. :)

Excellent choice. Do you know Popol Vuh?"
I have Aguirre pts I,II, and III on now - thanks for the tip

Yes, well... I can tell you what that translates to Ekel, but I really don't know what it means... Robert and Gabi kind of never lend themselves to being interpreted like the rest of us...

I know what the text means, but I didn't know it was also a song by DAF. Seems Fehlfarben and OHL used the same lyrics:

But the original version is by a German New Wave band called Mittagspause, could that be possible?

Yes, of course you do, I blundered a bit there. To get on track again: I had no idea and that was most interesting! Writing credits for the D.A.F-version is the members of that band (the original 5-man line-up) and they released it on single first in 1980 and again in 1982 b/w the fantastic "Ein Bißchen Krieg"
The Fall - Live At the Witch Trials

One of the greatest tunes of all time, nice pick.
Hellhammer - Messiah
Hannes Wader & Die Toten Hosen - Heute hier, morgen dort

Somehow, Hannes Wader reminds me a bit of Tywin Lennister.
